Hello.
I have plugins from Yanfly. Animated sideview enemies and ActSeqPack2.
When i write <Floating> in the notepack of a enemy, i have the error : cannot read property 'y' of undefined
I don't know what's wrong.
When i press F8, i have this :

Download all action sequence packs and try it again.

give a screenshot of your plugin manager - the most probably cause is the wrong order of plugins, or as a second option wrong/old versions of some plugins.

I see what the problem is. The Yanfly Core Engine is in the middle of the list. It needs to be above all other Yanfly plugins. Hope that helps.

Good remark. I put the Yanfly Core Engine above all other Yanfly plugins but unfortunately it still does not work.

That is because most oft your yanfly plugins are out oft order,not only the core.
Please go to yanfly's website and reorder all plugins Into exactly the order given there, then start new game for future testing .
Yanfly's plugins will cause random errors it not in correct order

But I'm very grateful for your helps. You helped me a lot ! Thanks to you, some plugins like SaveCore works ! (crashed when i save)
So I don't understand. I wrote well <Floating> right ? (In the "enemy" category)

Other features of the plugin work like <Broathing> but not <Floating>...

search the forum for exactly that tag, <Floating>.
I remember that it has been called several times as not working, and vaguely remember that the reason was that it was handled by a different yanfly plugin than supposed. But I don't remember the solution, so you have to search for those topics and check for yourself.

I just had this error and found this post, after a while trying to solve it i've got a solution, sorry for necroposting but I think it would be nice to solve the problem.

1) Open Yep_X_Animated SVEnemies.JS with a text editor (I recomend notepad++)

2) Search for this, line 1510:
Sprite_Enemy.prototype.updateFloatingStateSprite = function() {
if (this._enemy && this._enemy.isFloating()) {
var heightRate = this.addFloatingHeight();
var height = this._enemy.spriteHeight();
this._stateIconSprite.y += Math.ceil(heightRate * height);
this._stateSprite.y += Math.ceil(heightRate * height);
};
};

3) Change for this:
Sprite_Enemy.prototype.updateFloatingStateSprite = function() {
if (this._enemy && this._enemy.isFloating()) {
var heightRate = this.addFloatingHeight();
var height = this._enemy.spriteHeight();
this._stateIconSprite.y += Math.ceil(heightRate * height);
if(typeof this._stateSprite!== 'undefined')
this._stateSprite.y += Math.ceil(heightRate * height);
};
};

4) It works

Explanation for: this._stateSprite is undefined if you don't have states, then you should check if it is undefined because trying to get the height(Y) of nothing will cause an error.
