You can use this plugin to make the npc detect the presence of the player or another npc!
Useful in the creation of stealth elements, in which the player must keep his presence hidden to advance.

Hi, can you please elaborate on the purpose of this plugin, give some examples of it's use?  Please take a look at the pinned threads & see what kind of format and information is acceptable.

I'm having some problems with this plugin. For some reason, the detection area (in whatever form specified - sVision, sFront, sCircle tested so far) only seems to work on the tile directly next to the event in the direction specified, or the tile X tiles ahead of the event in the direction specified, where X is the distance given for the function. This is making it somewhat difficult to use for detecting if an event can detect the player, as as it stands I think I'd have to have one conditional branch for each distance a player can be from the event and still be detected, and even in that case which conditional branch triggers if the player managed to get directly adjacent to the event may be unpredictable.

Is this the intended behaviour?

Additionally, the help text mostly isn't showing up for me - it seems to dislike the @ in your e-mail address.

Okay, now when I use it with, say, this.sFront(4), it picks up the player when they're in the tile three below the event. Exactly three tiles below, not two tiles or one tile (or the requested four tiles).

The help text works but it still doesn't explain if this is supposed to be the intended behaviour or not. Is it supposed to detect an exact distance, no more and no less? If I know this IS the intended behaviour, I'm more or less happy. But shouldn't it in this case be detecting the distance supplied by the user?
