You need to send the map.00x file that it is saved in, else it cannot be imported to the game. Also, you will need to share the tileset you used, and Blinn will need to add it to their database, else the map will not import properly.

I used the RTP, but you know you can open the project, copy the map, and then open the project you want to put it in and just paste right?

But thank you for the helpful advice. :)

Thanks for explaining this - I wouldn't have thought of that. :)

I haven't tried that approach, so wasn't aware of it. Then again, copy/paste hasn't worked right on my computer since IE11 was installed, so I just avoid it.

As for the collaboration post idea, if I get some time to draw up a map, I'd be more than happy to zip one along. What size do you want it? I use a combination of RTP, Ayene's Tiles and Indrah's tiles, which are all free to use with credit (commercial and non-commercial).

Its in your game's directory (where you save your project), then under data. Your approach is going to be easier though as mine requires an entry to already exist for that map else the project might crash, so I'd actually suggest doing what you said.

Any size, really. As long as isn't ridiculously small.

Thanks! I'll play around with it and see what I can do. :) Now is that the map file or is that the game itself that you're using?

It's the project itself. Open it, and right click the map name on the left side bar that displays all the map names. Hit copy. Close the project, and open whatever project you're going to paste it in. Right click on the left bar again and paste.

EDIT:

Think I'll start a lava cave. I hate doing forest dungeons.

And here you were afraid that nobody would like Uniques United, Blinn.

Last time I checked, people who don't like (your stuff) WON'T offer to help you!

I've learned to relax more since the earlier posts. But I'm only 22 so it's natural that I might freak out sometimes. :p

And making your first game is stressful too.  So much to learn all at once.  But it does get easier, and so you will become more relaxed about it as you gain confidence.

Yes. Yes I would.
A mix of dark ambient and environmental background noise based on the level's design. Also with stylistic changes depending on which character you play as. Something like this:

The little miscellaneous sounds that come in and out of both pieces (ex: sound of bells and chimes, drone changes pitch) is what keeps it from being tuned out as you play. If you keep hearing the same thing again and again it's easy to file away in your mind. What do you use to create music and such? I'm curious.

FL Studio is on my laptop but I never really used it. And what time zone are you in? I'm not going to publicly ask "Hey, announce your address on the internet, but I'd like to get an idea of the time difference
