I hate pets. All pets. Other people can have them, I have no troubles with that, but I do not like animals inside my house. I pretend I'm fine with it, since pets are so important to other people, I've done pet sitting and so on, but ugh. I don't like pets.

I love pets, but there is one thing I don't like about them: If you have no pets, it is so much easier to just travel.

This is one of the reasons we probably will never have another dog after ours passes. I love dogs, but between finding someone to watch him when we travel and my increased allergies, it’s not going to happen.

@Lothloran @Philosophus Vagus Like I said, boring. So boring, I'm getting flash backs of day dreaming at the range.

But hey, if you find that stuff entertaining, more power to ya. Entertainment is about as subjective as subjective gets.

I hate grilled food, and honestly wish people would stop pretending they are doing me a favor by throwing it on the grill instead of using the stove or oven.

Wow, you know what I learned from this thread...

People who use RPGMAKER are some picky eaters.
Not me! lol, The only thing I'd *prefer* not to eat are green olives. They're too acidic and they make my stomach feel weird. Other than that, I couldn't name a food I dislike or won't eat.

Geez, it sure got heated in here. Well, not related to these, I've got one that I can't seem to get other people to understand as of late and it's driving me crazy.

The differences between people's personalities can be very massive, to the point where their entire perceptions of the same thing are different. To say one way is right and another is wrong is arrogant and self-righteous. For example: making decisions based on objective criteria or based on how it affects other people, or liking people vs not liking people, or being social vs not being social, or being into artistic stuff vs not being into it. Really, psychological theories such as Big 5 personality traits need to be taught in schools from a young age so that people can learn to understand these differences between one another and to stop trying to force other people to see the world the way they do. Not only this, but people have different degrees of tolerances, sensitivities, thresholds, and triggers. Just because you are able to endure 8 hours of non-stop small talk socialising, doesn't necessarily mean that everyone can, and to some people that is quite literally a mental torture. It always ticks me off when you tell people something that is hard for you and they say "then how do I manage to do it and you can't?".
Its hard to put into words but i believe.. that we all have more control of ourselves than we realize but making long term changes can be hard since we intuitively expect the same results from the same situations and confirmation bias can concrete our world view whenever we try to see the world differently. I think people are quick to forget how they used to feel or how hard things used to be before they became second nature. I think anyone can make positive habits natural and easy but its like a space shuttle taking off.. most of the work is in the first few miles of escaping the earths gravity. I think people quit before they escape gravity and those already in space forgot just how much pull gravity has. I think the best thing you can do for someone is guide them along progressively harder challenges just beyond what they think they can do to show them how capable they are instead of asking why cant you do it?

I think this topic is too deep for this forum but id be willing to debate/discuss elsewhere.

And this is why I have the most low-maintenance pet you can possibly have (other than a rock, but uh, let's not go into that).

Anyway, more opinions.
- I eat ice cream in winter. All the time.
- Toads are adorable.
- I don't like Zelda games.
- The best part of anime is the concept and the art style. The rest is usually cheesy nonsense.
- The Big Bang Theory is a very annoying show.

Unpopular opinion:
I heavily dislike multiplayer only games.

/rant starts

It's a world I don't really understand and I'm not talking about playing with friends or family but playing with complete strangers.
In these games you will always find trolls, cheaters, hackers, creeps and brats that insult you for no reason and ruin the whole experience.

*stares at GTA Online*

Games for me are stories to experience and I hate playing with strangers, there's also the fact that I don't have a single (virtual) competitive bone in my body.
I could care less about competition in videogames, it's something so trivial to me and doesn't make any sense, I play for personal enjoyment not to win against people I will never even meet in my life.
That doesn't mean I totally ditch any form of multiplayer, quite the opposite in fact, I can like it but has to be local only or optional (and private) with 2 or 3 people that I know very well.
The only game I played in multiplayer and enjoyed was Terraria and that was with my wife only on a private server, we made it past the Moon Lord there and it was fun.
I also want to play without being connected to the internet all the damn time.
If I want to bring my laptop to McDonald or in a Shopping Mall, there's no way I can comfortably play those online only games (no I don't wanna pay for 4G or go around with a router just for World of Warcraft, plus the net plan they might offer in these stores is usually too slow for online only games).

"I wanna play anywhere and whenever I want by myself as a stress relief, online stresses me out"

I actually miss the days of playing in front of the TV and in split screen with friends and family, there was real interaction back then with people, nowdays it's just text and voice.
The communities of multiplayer only games are also full of extremely toxic, stupid and childish people.

*stares at GTA Online*

Oh yeah I also don't like Overwatch (my God so damn boring) Blizzard should have made Warcraft 4 instead.

Arcana Heart 3 and its sequals are better than Blazblue.

I have both and I can confirm, Arcana Heart 3 is better in terms of move sets, specials, storyline, and boob physics.

The only reason I don't play AH3 is because I think my copy is haunted. I swear to god, every time I play it something weird happens in my house. The last time I played it my bedroom door got kicked off it's hinges and I spent the whole night wandering around my house armed to the teeth.
NO ONE was there. NO ONE. No broken windows, all the doors were locked, all the windows were latched, I even dragged out a ladder to crawl up into the attic to check for rouge hobos who might be squatting in my house. NOTHING. There was no one but me in the house.
Spooked the hell out of me.

While I don´t agree I´d LOVE to hear your reasoning.
Controls on a lot of the pins were pretty unresponsive, to the point that I ended up just falling back on the pins that worked well rather than using a diverse move set and the main character is hilariously unlikeable (yes, I know he supposedly gets better, but having to survive through his opening nihilistic, emo, bull**** was awful).

Also: Ocarina of Time is the most overrated game of all time. It is a good game, but no where NEAR as good as its fans seem to think.

Yeah, I totally agree. The barrier is often the steepest at the start, which can be very discouraging for most people. I think this is why it's best to slowly ease into things, because jumping straight into the deep end is going to overwhelm you and make you really stressed, and that in turn can put you off the task even more. To condition yourself takes a lot of time. But even then, our genetics play a role too, and eventually you'll reach your limit, and that limit might be higher than some people's but lower than others'. For example, some people are generally more tolerant to stress (low Neuroticism), and if you worry and get stressed too easily, you can mitigate it only so much, but it's unlikely you'll be able to outdo those people who were naturally born highly resistant to stress.

Not everything you might attribute to chemical differences may be chemical though and to damn yourself as being naturally flawed is more of a barrier than the chemistry. Differences in circumstance arent always apparent and can contribute to tolerances without even the person themselves realizing.

Diet is actually a huge part of stress tolerance and if you dont smoke or drink then cutting back on sugar and caffine will have a big impact on what you can do.

Got another, magic the gathering has terrible core mechanics and people wouldnt tolerate it if it wasnt the first collectible card game and most of the rrason people tolerate it is that its easier to find games of it than it is any of the numerous superior card games.

@Countyoungblood : Thanks for the advice! Perhaps I do need to try out the kind of things I deem to be too difficult or downright impossible for me. And yeah, I'm too much of a fan of sugar and caffeine. I know that caffeine stimulates more beta waves in the brain, and too much of it can make people too agitated and even anxious, so I try to have no more than 3 cups of tea a day.

Yeah Magic the Gathering kind of sucks. I find most card games kind of boring though, but, the whole magic the gathering thing kind of surprised me seeing how it was so popular so suddenly. I think also it was picked up by a much broader audience than initially expected, lots of older generation people played it, and a trickling in of younger people gave it a pretty much pokemon level sustaining that people just "grow up" with. Never really cared for pokemon either.
