I agree with Shin. That may allow for others to see if is it something to do with the projects and not your computers.

I would advise uploading a demo so someone else could test it out on thier pc to see if it has the same effect to on a different pc also.
As stated twice, this happens with a blank project. The lag happens upon loading the program itself _and_ opening games made in RPGM.

Did you install it on (C:) program files (x86)? Because that caused an excessive amount of lag for me when I first tried RMVXA. I just installed it on a different folder and voila, works really fast.

I got Windows 8.1 64 bit and FX4130, GTX650Ti and 8GB RAM, so  much lower then your PC. The editor is never hanging when I start, same goes for the game itself.

Only the games itself runs on 20-30 FPS instead of 60 FPS and the game instance itself starts after 10 seconds.

Have you all drivers up to date?
Even your bios, needs maybe an update.

You can try running the maker and the game with administrative rights. May this fix your problem. ;)

Is it the steam version, and have you enabled cloud sync? That makes it hang. Disable cloud sync for the project, and it'll be fine.

Couple hours of work. Might use in my game as a secret find or something. Not sure. Fancy though no? :D
Holy stink, where have I been? Well, I started my temporary job this week. So less time to spend on game design... :(
Cartoonier cloud cover that better fits the art style, as well as (slightly) improved blending/fading... fading clouds when there are larger patterns is still somewhat abrupt for some reason.
Do you Find Tilesetting or Looking for Tilesets/Plugins more fun? Personally I like making my tileset for my Game (Cretaceous Park TM) xD
