I'm still adding stuff to my game! I knew the deadline was midnight, but double-checked and saw that it's *UTC* time -- so check your timezone if you haven't submitted yet! It could be much earlier than you thought!

I've been working FULL TIME on my game, and it would suck so much to miss the contest! (I was hoping to submit it a day early, but you know how it goes.) Up until yesterday my game didn't even have an ending!

EDIT: It's done! Congrats to everyone who submitted!

In the US's EST, that's 7-8PM!!!

That's a bummer, because now I have 6 hours to send something in! lol

Yeah, I was actually hoping I'd have more time to just test everything before submitting. :(

When you've woken up at 11am thinking you've had a decent amount of time left, and you found out that you had like, 8 hours until the deadline.

That's how my day started. :D

I was worried that I'd miss the deadline if work ran long, so I uploaded it before I headed out today.  Means I didn't get to polish a couple bits, but better that than potentially missing the deadline, with as much work as I've put into this!

Hell, I ended up in the hospital during development, for cryin' out loud! :D

Oh, that is BS! 20 minutes before the deadline, and I couldn't even submit my game, yet you see submissions entered every minute! Crazy mad rush of last-minute releases!

Oh well. At least in my head, I can call myself a winner. lol :D

Just waiting on my buddies Fluffy (did the EVA Suit recolor, title screen edits, and my profile picture here) and Amber (wife's best friend, known'er more'n a decade myself, big supporter of me during this whole project) to get here for the Post-Release Party!

Hookah, and Brandy Alexanders for me.  Not sure what everyone else'll be drinking.

Then again, I may take a couple shots o' that stuff I've got in a mason's jar with strawberries floating around in it...  *Nods*  BURNS SO GOOD!

Also, as soon as the People's Choice Voting thing is over, I'm going to go in, debug further, and give a proper Omega Product Release for it for after the contest period.  Because let's face it, I can sell this on Steam, even if I don't win any prize other'n participation (I'm hoping to snag SOMETHING, though)!

I wish I could do that! I got 3 1/2 hours of sleep last night because I was so nervous about missing the deadline, and now I'm working on a trailer for the game! I hope they still let me add it to the page.

Same here -- I always intended on filling out my game more, and updating a lot of stuff after the contest. I may kickstart it or something, but of course I'm hoping I win something! It would be cool if they help publish some of the games that *don't* win, if they're good.

You and I had the same idea, my friend. Steam may be our best friend here, lol.

Got to crush some bugs first though.

Dude, Fluffy got here, and he's like "You finished your game.  I'm going to make SURE you get something out of this.  Here's the DS+ Resource Pack."

Best.  Party.  EVER.

OF ALL TIME. ;)

And yeah, I ended up with about the same amount of sleep-Fluff and Amber left at 3 in the AMs, I left for work at 6:45!  GOOD TIMES!

As to them helping with the publishing of games that don't win but are good, they actually mentioned something about that somewhere, I'd thought.

Great minds think alike, eh?   ;)

Aye, I want to polish this turd up NICE before I try and sell it (not that it's NOT polished right now, it's just like with anything, the more you go through it, the more you think "Yeah, I can do better here, I can change this, I can make this stronger/faster/harder.").  Steam is going to be EPIC for that.  I am SO excited about this whole prospect.

I hope I win SOMETHING (even 3rd place would be epic-of course, people's choice AND grand prize would be beyond anything I could ever hope for), because I really, REALLY want to take my daughter to a couple of places in our state she's not been to yet.  *Nods*

And I'd like to buy IG Maker.

Because reasons.

Careful, IG Maker has one hell of a learning curve.

More concerning than the learning curve imo is that IG Maker has some serious problems that weren't address in the English release. I don't have a list of them at the moment though. Sorry. =x

My goal is to have every tool possible at my disposal to make games with.  I'll figure something out, and I'm pretty quick on the uptake for things like this.  I mean, it can't be too much harder than Game Maker, Construct 2, or MultiMedia Fusion 2.5, can it?   ;)

Thanks for the heads up, though!

Couple hours of work. Might use in my game as a secret find or something. Not sure. Fancy though no? :D
Holy stink, where have I been? Well, I started my temporary job this week. So less time to spend on game design... :(
Cartoonier cloud cover that better fits the art style, as well as (slightly) improved blending/fading... fading clouds when there are larger patterns is still somewhat abrupt for some reason.
Do you Find Tilesetting or Looking for Tilesets/Plugins more fun? Personally I like making my tileset for my Game (Cretaceous Park TM) xD
