So I just updated all of the different YEP plugins I am using after like 2-5 years and now I am experiencing some issues. The main one I've noticed is that before a fight or after a skill is used it takes about 2-6 seconds to get to the next option. It's just stuck like below picture:

So I am unsure about what is causing it, I am currently looking around to learn more about plugin orders and what not. But in case anyone knows how to solve it I'd be very grateful. I'm also linking my plugins as order and if you know how to correct it, please tell me.

Anything you can help with is greatly appreciated.

Best regards,

on first sight, your YEP_ plugins are out of order, make sure you put them
in the correct order provided on his website found here.

that is mostly the main issue everyone make, getting errors, bugs, slowdowns etc.

At first glance, it does not look like you have the Yanfly plugins in the correct order. Go to his website and put them in the order they are listed, that will take care of any order issues with those plugins. Then I would probably put the others toward the bottom of your list and see if you still have issues.

I notice three things that are probably factors:

1) You have Yanfly CTB which was discontinued ages ago and was last updated around MV 1.3.1 or so. While some can still get it to work, you may need to play with it to fix it.

2) Did you update ALL plug-ins? I see some non-Yanfly ones and those will need an update too.

3) Check your order, as they must be in the order Yanfly lists too.

1. Yes, unfortunately it has been discountinued but it's something I've been aware of and I believe I added it even after it was discontinued and after some time I got it working. I haven't noticed anything over the years.

2. I'm working on a complete update, but there's quite a few plugins requiring attention, I just showed the list of YEP-plugins with WAY since they were placed there. I Believe that the instruction were to place them directly under other cores, at least the core. I'll have to verify later.

3. I've gone over the order and arranged them according to Yanfly's list, should've looked into that before. Didn't actually realize there was a list... Thought I would have to go read each plugin individually for some reason.

In conclusion I believe the issue is with the CTB. Perhaps it's possible to find another system that isn't discontinued as I sincerely dislike the standard system... It's possible that the issue only exists in the test room I've got going as well. That will be noticeable later though.

Thanks for all your answers and support but I believe that I will call this solved as I believe the solution is rather out of reach.

Best regards,

Our latest feature is an interview with... me?!

People4_2 (Capelet off and on) added!

Just beat the last of us 2 last night and starting jedi: fallen order right now, both use unreal engine & when I say i knew 80% of jedi's buttons right away because they were the same buttons as TLOU2 its ridiculous, even the same narrow hallway crawl and barely-made-it jump they do. Unreal Engine is just big budget RPG Maker the way they make games nearly identical at its core lol.
Can someone recommend some fun story-heavy RPGs to me? Coming up with good gameplay is a nightmare! I was thinking of making some gameplay platforming-based, but that doesn't work well in RPG form*. I also was thinking of removing battles, but that would be too much like OneShot. I don't even know how to make good puzzles!
one bad plugin combo later and one of my followers is moonwalking off the screen on his own... I didn't even more yet on the new map lol.
