Hi, i'm still new to RPG Maker as a whole, but i've started to get the hang of a lot of stuff.
When i first started i used a trial version of VX Ace, then i used to script to turn it into MV when i tested the MV trial. I now bought it during the Steam Summer sale. Problem is that i can't seem to update the game i started working on to 1.5.0 and i don't know why. This is a pain in the butt especially since it doesn't allow me to use certain plugins, such as "Yanfly's GridFreeDoodads" wich require 1.3.0 or higher.
When i open the "rpg_core.js" to check the version, there is no version at all. But if i were to create a brand new project, and look at the rpg_core.js file for that project, then it says 1.5.0. I've tried to copy over the new files from "Project 1" to a copy of my real project, but that just made it either unable to edit in the editor or unable to playtest.
How do i properly update my older project to 1.5.0?
