@Trihan I wasn't taking it in a disparaging way, just as a simple statement of fact.

Prepare your soul in peace and tranquillity - when I finally finish this project, I'm moving on to MZ. Never having used MV (didn't like it), I shall be starting that from a position of zero knowledge. It's going to be painful all round. I'm trying to collect useful bits and pieces as I spot them, but the gaps are going to be huge! I shall have an awful lot of questions, from the most basic (what's the Javascript equivalent to xyz script call?) upwards.
