When I use rotate tool in gimp my object seems to to screw up the picture. Am I doing something wrong? or is it just how it is? If so, Is there way to smooth out the image?

I think that's how it is.

How much are you rotating? An angle that is a multiple of 45 should have the best possible results.

You can try with the Interpolation set at None, but with so few pixels it's almost impossible to get a perfect rotation in Gimp.

I don't know how Photoshop handles it, but if you stick to Gimp you can try a software called RotSprite which gets better results.

You'll have to import the resulting image back in Gimp, but it may be worth the effort.

Hmm....interesting. I'll have to give RotSprite a try.

Back in action to develop the indie game that has been long overdue... Final Fallacy. A game that keeps on giving! The development never ends as the developer thinks to be the smart cookie by coming back and beginning by saying... "Oh bother, this indie game has been long overdue..." How could one resist such?
