Using graphics on different RPG makers

Hey,
I was wondering if i can use graphics from RPG maker XP in RPG maker MV.
Ive bought RPG maker mv and i'm going to buy RPG maker XP as well. So will i be able to share to other my game created in RPG maker mv that uses RPG maker's XP resources (mainly trees)?

@NarutoButUchiha You can use XP resources in MV if you own a legal copy of both engines.

yes, you just have to reformat them as RMXP and RMMV have mostly different formats for their resources (for example 3x4 cell sprites as opposed to 4x4 cell sprites, different tilesets and so on)

as long as you own both makers you can transfer between any maker
