Using \N[001] in enemy name

Hey there community,

I came up with the idea to battle against the player's shadow, therefore, when the battle begins it should say '[Player]'s Shadow emerged!'. I was already surprised that this worked out, but apparently this does not work when choosing who to attack. Also, I do not know if it changes anything, but using '1' instead of '001' does not make a difference. I think the screenshot below will give more information:

Do not put leading zeros in front of numbers. In some cases, it does cause an issue.

This exact same thing was asked only a few days to a week ago. I suggest you search through the recent threads and see if you can find it, and if there was a solution.

Like I said, it doesn't work in both of the cases. Anyway, I also found the thread, but I cannot get it to work, maybe because I am not using RPG Maker VX Ace?

aww, crumbs - sorry - didn't realise that was for Ace and you were using MV.

My comment about it causing an issue wasn't just that it wouldn't work - it was that it WILL cause issues if you put leading zeros in front of things, in some cases (not just not working, but doing weird things in the process) so you should not do it.

Try this - save it as whateverfilename.js in your plugins folder and add to your plugins manager.

Holy stink, where have I been? Well, I started my temporary job this week. So less time to spend on game design... :(
Cartoonier cloud cover that better fits the art style, as well as (slightly) improved blending/fading... fading clouds when there are larger patterns is still somewhat abrupt for some reason.
