Im afraid that "might" be starting something here....hopefully not something bad....but anyway, i have a burning question that i think may make a good discussion.
Anyway, profanity....i know yall use it! O_O.....especially YOU....yeah!
Wha'da'ya get out of it HUH?! Does it make ya feel powerful?!....when you drop that "F" bomb on that idiots head and watch him stammer for a reply!!! Does it "FEEL GOOOOOOOOD"!?
WELL!!! I GOTTA SAY SOMETHIN'!!!
Joking aside, im just curious...why is profanity exclusively an adult thing? When you pop one off, you and who ever may hear it, may or (for those from another generation) may not think anything of it, but listening to a child utter only what he/she has heard the big people saying, just dosent sound right. Children who do this may be lightly chided or even "have their mouth washed out with soap".... a classic.
I remember when i was a kid, i was playing with some friends....two of us had gotten into a fight, and for the first time in my life, I used the word "****" . Expecting to hear my friends gasp at me, and feeling a little guilty, i was surprised to receive "adulation" from them.....it was really weird

. For me this was....well...it kinda felt good. The acceptance, not using the word (I was "best friend #3" if that says anything...lol). Because to them, I guess it was some sort of "right of passage" sort or thing....To them, i was more grown up after i used that word than i was before hand. WHY is that?!
