I want to buy RPG Maker and some packages to create commercial games, but I only want to buy RPG Maker because I want to use the sprites.

I want to use the resources, like faceset sprites to create an android game. There's any problems with that?

You cannot use RTP outside RPG Maker. It's against the product's EULA. Note that this is the case for both commercial and non-commercial games.

Some of our resource packs have a non-RM license (which is more expensive than a regular license), and you can purchase those for use in Android or whatever other engine you use for game creation. But not all resource packs offer this.

I take a look in the non-RM products, but no one of them offer characters, when I say characters, I mean people sprite, there's any way to buy some of that characters to use in a non-RPGMaker game?

You can commission people to do that, or you can look at some of the other resources (non-RTP) to check if they might be usable outside RM.

Unfortunately, you can't license parts of the RTP either. So, you can't just use the character sprites that come with the program.

At the moment, we don't have any character-only packs in the store. We have artists working on some, though. :)

The first generator is RTP, essentially, so you can't use it. I can't open the second link, so I can't tell you what it is.

The third link has a license in English that tells you you can use it in programs other than RPG Maker.

Lunarea, thanks for your help

I'll use the tilesets from the third link by now, but I'll still want to purchase the RTP for commercial non-RPGMaker games, please, create a new post in this topic when RTP graphics are available to use in non-RPGMaker games

You'll probably be waiting for a very long time. This has been requested since before Ace was even around, and it's been requested much more strongly over the past couple of years, but EB has still not offered any such option.

You're only options are whatever non-RM licenses are sold in the store and whatever non-RTP resources you can find from others, so long as their terms allow use outside of RM and in a commercial game.

NONE of those links can be used for your game. They ALL clearly state that the materials are based on RTP.

Hi Shaz, you say that NONE of the links can be used to create commercial non-RPGMaker games, but the third link has an license agreement that tell about Graphic data

http://www.tekepon.net/fsm/modules/refmap/index.php

it says

"Although our resources are for RPG Tkool 2000*1, you can use them for a original programming game, for your website, for a movie, for a screen saver, etc."

The resources are created to use with RPGMaker, but the creators of the resources allow the use of resources with original programming game and other purposes

In any part of the agreement, it said that the game use RTP as a base to create the characters.

I don't understand why I can't use the third link to create a commercial non-RPGMaker game.

mmm - I thought some of FSM stuff was based on RTP. Others will be able to say for sure.

so hopefully tomorrow i get to go home from the hospital i've been here for 5 days already and it's driving me mad. I miss my family like crazy but at least I get to use my own toiletries and my own clothes. My mom is coming to visit soon i can't wait to see her cause i miss her the most. :kaojoy:
Couple hours of work. Might use in my game as a secret find or something. Not sure. Fancy though no? :D
Holy stink, where have I been? Well, I started my temporary job this week. So less time to spend on game design... :(
Cartoonier cloud cover that better fits the art style, as well as (slightly) improved blending/fading... fading clouds when there are larger patterns is still somewhat abrupt for some reason.
Do you Find Tilesetting or Looking for Tilesets/Plugins more fun? Personally I like making my tileset for my Game (Cretaceous Park TM) xD
