Hello,

I'm using a screenshot of a map as my battleback. Problem is: the screenshot isn't appearing in its original size. Not sure why this happened.

How can I make the battleback show up exactly the same as the screenshot?
And yeah, I need to hide that UI button.

Thanks in advance!

Without using plugins, when I was doing something similar, I had to make a few tries with a simple map screen (like you're doing) and figure out which tiles would show up and which wouldn't, because RPG Maker does some weird stuff with battleback sizing.

There *are* a number of plugins that will force scale the battle back. VisuStella Battlecore, will, for one. That's the one I'm using now. It will do 1:1 or fit screen or a couple of other options. If you don't like VS, there are sure to be others.

I think I remember this being discussed in another thread a little while ago, and someone determined that the battleback is zoomed a bit.

just beat ff7 original for the first time since 2010. having played remake last year, I have a much better appreciation for the original oddly enough. I still like some of the character presentation in remake more, but the original's got a lot going for it.

:kaosigh: Why must you hurt me so?
my main character isn't the warrior of light or the chosen one, he's a self righteous, invasive try hard who gets ahead of himself and makes a critical error, resulting in a downward moral spiral that, eventually, leads him to truths that make him a better man, and im DAMN proud of that.
