So what I'm trying to do is have my actors' ATK and DEF be determined by the bonuses granted by their weapons/armors. I know that I can stop a stat from increasing by setting its rate in the "generate curve" feature to 1. What I was wondering is if there is a way to turn off the player's ability to access the status screen or to get rid of MAT/MDF/LUK from the menu? Thanks!

This is incorrect.

By setting the curve to a constant 1 for each level, this only means that each level the character will have a value of 1 in [x] stat.

If you where to put on an item that increases your stat, it would still go up.

Actually it is true. My MC has his ATK set to 1 from LVL 1 to 99 and when I advance him to level 10 (the level cap for my game) his ATK is 1. When I equip his sword (+17 ATK) his ATK rate goes to 18.

I know it does, thats what I was saying.

You worded it as if having the curve set to 1 would cap the stat.

I don't understand...It does cap the stat from the perspective of leveling up. Even at level 99 his ATK would be 1. It does not prevent the boosting of the attribute by equipment. But that's not really my question. I'm trying to figure out if there's a way to block the status screen or remove MAT, MDF etc. from it.

Put this in your script editor under materials and above main.

Code:
#==============================================================================class Window_MenuCommand < Window_Command#==============================================================================  #--------------------------------------------------------------------------  # * Add Main Commands to List  #--------------------------------------------------------------------------  def add_main_commands    add_command(Vocab::item,   :item,   main_commands_enabled)    add_command(Vocab::skill,  :skill,  main_commands_enabled)    add_command(Vocab::equip,  :equip,  main_commands_enabled)  endend

Holy stink, where have I been? Well, I started my temporary job this week. So less time to spend on game design... :(
Cartoonier cloud cover that better fits the art style, as well as (slightly) improved blending/fading... fading clouds when there are larger patterns is still somewhat abrupt for some reason.

Back in action to develop the indie game that has been long overdue... Final Fallacy. A game that keeps on giving! The development never ends as the developer thinks to be the smart cookie by coming back and beginning by saying... "Oh bother, this indie game has been long overdue..." How could one resist such? No-one c
