With the current MV yanfly plugins, is there a way to add variable stat bonuses? For example, a state that adds someone's critical rate to their evasion, or temporarily boosts their attack by their agility.

I remember this working in something Yanfly did with a VXA plugin, but I can't find it in the documentation for MV.

Yanfly's plugin don't allow you to give flat parameters boosts as far as I know. That's why I made a plugin to do just that not long ago.

You could use it to achieve your second effect:

Yes, I modified it just now because by reading your post I thought bonuses based on the affected's own parameters would be a nice feature to have.

You'd use:

<atkB: user.agi>

I don't know if your first effect is possible.

Yanfly's parameter control plugins can do constant additions via notetags, including the flat bonus or rate multiplier, but I can't find anything about using an eval.

@Astfgl66 any chance it could work on special / extra parameters, and can it use an eval to get the value?

I meant yanfly doesn't allow you to give flat stat boosts via states. You can't give everyone a flat 100 max hp boost when they have state 4. That's why I made the plugin above in the first place (and why it was requested too).

Every notetag in that plugin is evaled. It doesn't support multiple lines though.

It can definitely read an actor or enemy special and/or extra parameter but it only allows you to modify the base parameters so you can't use it for your first effect. As special and extra parameters aren't handled the same way as base parameters it's outside the scope of this plugin.

Still for your second effect it works perfectly.

Hello! I would like to know if there are any pluggings or any way to customize how battles look?
I was thinking that when you start the battle for it to appear the eyes of your characters and opponents sorta like Ace Attorney.
Sadly I don't know how that would be possible so I would be needing help! If you can help me in any way I would really apreciate it!
