# Variables - how to solve?

For several hours I'm trying to figure it out, how to solve my problem.

I will try to explain it:

I'm setting VARIABLE 001 to = 1 (event one)

Event two:

I want to have seven tabs related with value of variable (let's say it will be related with days of the week)

Values:

1 Monday - we're open till late

2 Tuesday - promo sale 50%

3 Wednesday - open till 5pm

4. Thursday - promo sale 25%

5. Friday - buy one get one free

6. Saturday - open till 3pm

7. Closed

In some specific conditions, my variable will be increased by one - and every of my tab will be dependant of variable one... but here's a problem.

When I want use condition VARIABLE is X or above it will not work for me properly, as if the condition is set value = 1 or above it will be true for first tab... if the second tab has condition value = 2 or above ... and 7th tab value = 7 or above will be working properly just when value is set to 1.

When is set to 2 - two tabs will meet this condition.

It will be exactly the same, when I try to set basic value to 7 and decreasing one by one.

I know, I could use some other condition, for example - when value will be increased by one, an item could be given - let's call this item Tuesday. Second tab could check if my value is 2 or above AND if I have item called Tuesday.

But maybe it's a simpler way? Anyone could help me?

"When is set to 2 - two tabs will meet this condition."

The Event Page (what you call tab) that has the highest number and meets all its  conditions overrides all the rest.

That's how things work, so this solves your case, meaning you never had a problem really.

Make Event pages with  the following conditions and you are ready to go.

Event Page 1   Condition Variable = 1

Event Page 2   Condition Variable = 2

Event Page 3   Condition Variable = 3

Event Page 4   Condition Variable = 4

Event Page 5   Condition Variable = 5

Event Page 6   Condition Variable = 6

Event Page 7   Condition Variable = 7

You can also make ONE Event page with Condtional Branches that use such a variable. Just saying

the condition "variable is equal or above" is intended to work together with page priority - because if the page ordering is correct, that works in the same way as an equal works.

So if it doesn't work for you, you made a mistake with your event pages.

Please provide screenshots of all pages and we can help finding where your mistake is.

I checked and it worked - but I cannot explain this for myself.

Page ordering is correct and it works - maybe I shouldn't think about this... but I did.

I always thought, if the first condition is A=>1, then every value 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7 will meet this condition and obviously I was afraid to use it.

Anyway - thank you for understanding guys.

If A >= 1 then do page 1

If A >=2 then forget about page one, do page 2

...  ...    ....................            ..................  ..............

if A >=N then forget about page N-1, do page N

That's the logic.
