This plugin allows the use to use Escape Codes (\c[x], \n[x], \i[x] and such) in every text on a window. By default, only some windows, such as message windows and help windows have this feature. But with this plugin you can use the codes on any window.

Sorry to bother you, but does it not work with Yanfly's plugins? Otherwise, I get the message that the 1.5 core isn't installed even though it is.

I didn't test it with other authors plugins, so I don't know.

Otherwise, I get the message that the 1.5 core isn't installed even though it is.
Is the order of the plugins correct? the Basic Module should be above all other plugins on the plugin manager. Other than that, try testing the plugins on an empty project. if it works on the empty project, but not on the project with other plugins, then it might be a compatibility issue.

Sorry to bother you again about a compatability issue, but gold does not display if you're running it with Yanfly's core.


Edit: You can get it to work but it can't be automatic.

Good question. This plugin only enables the use of escape codes on all text, now I don't remember any escape code to show weapon icons.

I've confirmed a compatibility issue with Yanfly's Buff & States core plugin. It's a widely used plugin, so I figured I'd mention it.  The State Turn numbers don't appear on the Battle Status when Control Text is on. 


Specifically, they appear, but the Y position is far too low.

anyone know how i can use this in the command window? i also use VE Direct Commands, nothing in help file and im pretty sure it can be done. i already tried adding the code's into the skill types section but no luck..

You put it in the skill types @kovak ? I’m replacing attack with limit via direct commands but it doesn’t work for me, I’m trying to make limit a different colour.. :)

There are different places you should look for:

  • For basic commands (Attack, Item, Guard...), go to the "Terms" tab in the database.
  • For ability commands (Magic, Special...), go to the "Types" tab, under the "Skill Types" section
  • For the Direct Commands plugin, go to the skill name that the direct command invokes
  • If you are using the Command Replace plugin, it must be added to the notetag, notice that, if the original command name has an icon, you should also add the icon code to it's name. for example: <command replace: '\i[76] Attack', '\i[64] Limit', skill type 2>

@Victor Sant thanks for getting back and the info! im using Direct Commands, and currently have this

<command replace: 'Attack','Limit', skill type 6>

result = a.tp == 100;

</command replace>

so will try adding color codes like this... <command replace: 'Attack','\c[11]Limit\c[0]', skill type 6> plan on having a custom color for each word in limit if i can. :) thanks again
