Eh, hi. This is kind of weird. I was testing out a battle and this suddenly happened. I thought this was just a glitch, but it's happening over and over in other encounters too.

Are there any scripts that interfere with Damage Popup? If so, is there any way of me keeping them and removing the glitch?

Did this problem occur after installing new scripts from different authors?

Unless you made some script call errors or made a mistake while modifying the script...  the problem might be because of a compatibility issue with another script. If this is the case, you could try searching for the script(s) causing this by commenting out your most recent scripts (Ctrl + A then Ctrl + Q to comment out a script temporarily) and see if the damage pop-up starts working properly again.

Sometimes re-arranging scripts and placing certain script's above / below others fixes the problem by itself.. but rarely.

It did. I disabled them once but that didn't fix the issue.

Thanks, but I decided to switch to a standalone popup of yanfly's engine. It works alright.

Oh yeah, I forgot to mention that. This thread can be closed now :p

This is not something I'd ever even considered but wow! What a way to use music in a game.
I am a complete fool. I went through the trouble of making a clone sprite and setting up a system to have the characters flash, when it turns out - I never noticed that the "._mainSprite" was the actual bitmap being used. I'm happy since that makes compatibility easier, but I also want to scream.
Synchronizing bust and sprite expressions! Plus using a phone behaviour :kaopride:
