Victory aftermath: lvl up

Hello,

"Appologize if i dident post properly, not familiar with forums"

After lvl up, I suddenly dont get the arrows between prev. and new stats. ( attached file )

I'm using the Yanfly victory aftermath.

Everything was going good, till today when testing battle.

I usualy dont touch anything, but i like to move in script editor to see how is done.

I just tried to change after battle speach English -> French.

Maybe I accidnetly touched something else.

Someone has an idea? Merci

Did you change the font? Did you change or import a new script?

Thanks for your answer.

I removed all imported scripts then reinstal and tried: Still have the issue.

Thought it could be recent imported scripts, but I have only Yanfly' scripts as before

and still get the issue.

The only change I did is remove "Formation" and "Save" in the In Game Menu with a simple # in Window_MenuCommand.

I cleared it, but of course it was not that.

If I changed the Font? I dident, but i probably tried to look where it was.

Tell me where it is and I take a look. Maybe I'll remember if changed something there.

I just saw the arrows between stats when you change weapons, armors, ... is showing well.

I found the "arrows" script lines in Yanfly Victory aftermath, but I realy cant understand "Ruby"

I checked once before to post it and now my previous issue changed to something square like that: []

I dident change anything.

Change weapons, armors, ... is still showing well.

1) I started a new project.

2) Imported Yanfly Engine Ace

3) Imported Yanfly Victory aftermath.

I still have the same issue and the

arrows in the equipement menu is still well shown.

So, why only problème with the Victory aftermath's arrows?

I am about to...to...to... ....  go to work.

Sometimes when you save an off-line copy of a script, or open it, edit it, then save it again(not counting when it's actually in the rpg maker script editor), some special characters won't get saved properly.  I believe it needs to be saved as a unicode? type format instead of ansi?  Have a look around line 909 for the draw_arrow method, more specifically line 914.

def draw_arrows dx = contents.width / 2 - 12 dy = 0 change_color(system_color) for i in 0..8 draw_text(dx, dy, 24, line_height, "→", 1) dy += line_height endendFor me when it's saved, the → turns into a ?.  You can either get Victory Aftermath from the source again, or you can just edit this part of the script and see if it solves it.

1st I just copy/pasy your arrows but got a []→

Then I totaly copy/pasted it and now it works.

I think my mistake was to not save in unicode.
