Heya! I'm new in here and I'm not sure where should I put my question and if there is already topic to this.

I was wondering is it possible to put a video under the title menu. I mean instead using a image background there would be a video!

I would so love to animate my main character and game logo in the backgroud!

I'm using RPG Maker VX ACE.

Thanks! :)

I've been wanting to do this myself, but the nearest I've found is a script by Mog Hunter which plays a slideshow of images instead of a single static image bg, with an animated effect overlay (sparkles, loting leaves, etc). It also let's you fully customize your game's title logo (instead of just text) and let's you show your "company" logo before the title appears.

Is there any limit to the number of images and can you adjust the speed of their display? I'm thinking of just how decent could you push it to be a like a high quality .gif.

I make 3d animated logo's here over at the resource workshops but since I dont actually own a copy of RPGMaker I can't test this out but it would be fun to experiment with animated title screens too.

@Tommy Gun: yep, that's the one. I believe you have to download the demo and copy-paste the script. Be sure the images you create for the title are imported with the exact same file names so the script can read everything properly.

@rx.concepts: I honestly don't know. I haven't noodled around with it enough to know for sure. Like I said above, the script looks for specific filenames. I *think* it's totally possible to change the # of slide images, but you'd need more scripting skillz than i have.

@Tommy Gun: MogHunter made other animated title screens. This is one of the other animated title screens:

@rx.concepts: The best way to know is to download the master demo and try the script. But if i remember correctly, you can put at least 4 pictures and you can change the number of seconds before the picture change to another picture.

Heres a link to MogHunter's website:

Marketing seems to be about reducing dependence on luck to sell a product, as well as expanding the number of avenues in which luck can play a role in selling a product.
So, I've been wanting to do this randomized logic puzzle in my game for years now. I finally figured out how to do it by using arrays and a few small script calls. It's based on the Einstein Fish Puzzle! :D Though, I have no idea how to actually have the player put in answers.... might start a thread about it.

The projectiles shown in this video are as follows:
1, Basic Triple
2, 30-Degree Arc
3, Randomized Blast Wave
4, 8-way
5, 8-way Double
6, 8-way Slowness
7, 120-Degree Arc Repetitive
8, Projective Triple
9, Split 8-way
10, 2-way Split Randomized Arc
11, HP-MP Split Arc
12, Split Laser
13, Shock
14, Cosine

I'm doing a fairy tale project Little Red Riding Hood and the Woodsman. I'm almost done with the demo in my native language and I intend to make a demo version in English as well. I'm just going to use the translator because I don't know the pronunciations very well, I only know how to say "Hey" and nothing else.. :kaoswt2:
