Hello,

As I tried to compress my game with VirtualBox, it said "Steam Write Error", I use the Steam version of MV and what should I do?

Why are you running it in a virtual box? Please give a bit more info on your setup or we won't be able to help.

That said, it basically means that steam can't write where it wants, either because of access restrictions or because of not enough disc space.

Again, that needs more info on what you really are trying to do.

I am using Enigma Virtual Box to try to compress my game from a folder to one exe file. Perhaps its my limited storage space?

You would need at least 2X the space of the project to use it. If you installed absolutely everything, the project would be 1GB, thus you need 2GB of space, 1GB to export, and 1 more GB for Enigma to create an output.

But the "stream write error" reference earlier means that it can't create the file, so that suggests not enough disk space, or the target is not writeable (eg a SD card with the write-switch pulled)

Just beat the last of us 2 last night and starting jedi: fallen order right now, both use unreal engine & when I say i knew 80% of jedi's buttons right away because they were the same buttons as TLOU2 its ridiculous, even the same narrow hallway crawl and barely-made-it jump they do. Unreal Engine is just big budget RPG Maker the way they make games nearly identical at its core lol.
