amazing,kudos for the person who draws that stuff!

i think id cry too if i had to draw 140 gods of that quality+ enemies

btw where do you even get ideas for them when i saw syth (dont know how to spell her name)

the energetic goddess who has the power of wind i thought of a character froma  adult game i played who happened to be a wind goddess.

its relaly cool that they have not only pictures back character back rounds i  enioy reading those

i do with that screne was free scroll tho and a button to exit out but its great otherwise.

also for the beastery would it be possible to show the items enemies drop(theirs a treasure option but its blank)

and more importainly show thier weakness

as long as im playing the game i can rememebr on my own but if i were to take a break id be a tad tedious :3

stats

athlete,social,popularity,study

starting to wonder how many times they need to be increased b4 it goes up XD

as thier are things you can only do if a certain stat is high enough

this worried me a bit wonder what would trigger the games end?

will it be possible to max all of them? or only select ones?

how many rank increases will each of them ahve will it let you know if its maxed?

other suggestion

have a reward for the sheep game if a player finishes the 700m run

i felt pretty trolled getting nothing but a score for that

have one of the students in the dorm be a gamer who will give you somethign even a key item even if it does nothing

i grinded alot so i can kill every enemy other then

the mysterious guy at the start of the spiral

and the 3 snake girl group
A very sorry for this late reply. We have rather busy week :)

Anyway to answer you, the idea just pop in my head XD. so I made the each and every god to has his/her own personality. It's kinda simple but  effective way of making them likable, isn't it?

For beastery, I need to tweak around with the scripts to make it as functional as you told and my knowledge with scripting is ... umm.. very basic. XD. So the fix need to wait until we get some help.

Yes yes, I designed the game in a way that players will be able to max all stats in single play through, but it'll be very hard. Tho maxing all stats will be a breeze in New Game +. You can check your current state of stats with IDriod. It will not give general idea of your stats level.

We will add unlockables, such as new gods or goddesses for playing minigames. Sheep game is one of them (not in the demo tho) :)

A great week for us!

Finally recruited a very talented mapper/ environmental artist for our projects, who would currently provide us with custom-made EXCLUSIVE water colored style tilesets. Flipping coolz :) . Thanks for joining us Crunie :)

that makes me a sad kitten but i know how you feel when to much is on your plate at once.

currently on break from rpg maker games(so much anime and other game i dont know when ill ever finish o.o)

ill follow darkend as well : O with your talent i woulnt be surpised if you worked for a profesional gaming company.

Project VSI is just halted. Will be resumed soon as we can :) . And I want to add more content for VSI and make it special (like all custom graphic/ animated cut-scenes etc ). So I push this project back for a while and focus on DarkEnd, which is by game design scope, a lot smaller than VSI.

im personally way more interested in this.

tho battles in this are more complicated trying to memorize each enemys weakness :(

having gods posses you is just to cool! :D

making a  utterly helpless girl

godly :D

also i find having a rpg battle system in a horror game rather interesting.

the closest thing ive seen like that is umm(has to look it up)




the plot and overall game on this just feels deeper for me.

Darkends in the game itself has yet to...give you reason to care about the characters.

outside of there bio of what they can do.

we know little to nothing about them.

which naturaly would be a problem with multiple characters like that.

i feel like i can connect more with the girl in this.

Darkends best point to me is the diversity in characters and that you can choose the path of abiltys for each character.

while keeping it simplistic so you dont have to be a hardcore stratagist to enjoy the game or succeed in it.

while they are both great games id choose this over darkend

Thinking about rebooting the Vision Spire Infini with more custom content and better gameplay design. :)

Will do it soon as we finish the DarkEnd, which is already in late-development stage. :3

Hello.

Project VSI will be rebooted once the dust is all settled with DarkEnd.
Now, new Lunar Engine is out and we have learned a lot while making DarkEnd and all, we will reshape Project VSI even better than it was before.
We will finished what we've started :D

Please stay tuned.

Project VSI has now a custom opening theme called Destiny (Thanks Jonnie :D )
A new opening animation incoming :p (tho it would take a while)

Holy stink, where have I been? Well, I started my temporary job this week. So less time to spend on game design... :(
Cartoonier cloud cover that better fits the art style, as well as (slightly) improved blending/fading... fading clouds when there are larger patterns is still somewhat abrupt for some reason.
Do you Find Tilesetting or Looking for Tilesets/Plugins more fun? Personally I like making my tileset for my Game (Cretaceous Park TM) xD
