Like the title says, I'm looking for a script that can show an aura animation on actors. I've looked all over this site and the internet in general, and everything with the word aura in the title/description was either a mechanic (which was therefore not visual) or could not be used on actors.
I need this to work like this in my game: whenever one of the three main actors has a certain state (there's a minimum of one for each actor), they gain an aura animation around them. The color varies with the actor - for example, one character gets stronger or weaker depending on the time of day in-game using states. The strongest three of those need a whitish yellow aura with a bright orange outline (I'll have the animation sheets for the auras from the artist I hired by the time they need to appear in-game, so getting them is not an issue). I would need this to be functional both in the field (and therefore also within events) and in the sideview battler.
Each aura is going to be a collection of ten images (one for every ten frames out of sixty) that create a flowing effect when used in succession, with the tenth looping back into the first. I plan to put the image sheets in the animations folder, but if they need to go somewhere else for this to work, that's fine, too.
Included is a screenshot of all the plugins I'm already using so as to avoid potential plugin conflict. I don't think any of them would do that with a plugin like this (since pretty much all of them are unrelated to animations), but I don't understand JS so my claim may be the north side of useless. Thanks in advance!
