Greetings! That's me!

My name is Morgana and I'm a Visual Novel Developer. I've been doing VNs since I was a wee thing (2006ish) and started working as a "pro" VN dev in 2011. I've been actively making a living off of visual novels since 2013.

If you are curious, I do lots of things for VNs:

  • Writing
  • Plotting
  • Editing
  • Proofreading
  • Translating (English - > Latin)
  • Localization
  • Scripting (Ren'Py)
  • GUI Programming (Ren'Py)
  • Android Port (Ren'Py)
  • Animated BG Programming (Ren'Py)
  • Logo Design and Illustration
  • GUI Design
  • Kickstarter Graphics
  • Pixel Art
  • Project Management
  • Marketing
  • Bookkeeping
  • Kickstarter Management
  • Publishing
  • Steam Publishing
  • Quality Assurance
  • Support
  • Music Composition (but only if you like sad piano pieces)
  • Zine Making
  • Magazine Publication

I have three goals in creating visual novels:

  • To create unique experiences
  • to become self reliant through hard work
  • to support my fellow creators

It's nice to meet you all, and I hope I enjoy my time here!

Feel free to contact me any time. Also hit me up on my twitter!

Hey welcome here! :)

I'm a bit curious: What engines besides Ren'Py do you use for your VNs? Any VNs you wanna share/recommend?

Welcome, I love seeing more people around here who want to create visual novels. I think RPG Maker MV, while not made for it, is still an excellent engine for a visual novel.

Such a well-written introduction. Thank you for taking the time to create it.

Welcome welcome.

I am a lazy programmer hanging around here doing not a lot.

Here's to a fruitful/enjoyable/relaxing or otherwise nice time spent at these forums.

*hugs*

I've used the Fungus plugin for Unity before as well as dino but I prefer Ren'Py! :)  I'm looking forward to trying the VNMaker software!

Oh, good to know I'm not totally out of my element. :D  That is exciting to know about MV!

Thank you so much! It's nice to meet you as well! :)

so hopefully tomorrow i get to go home from the hospital i've been here for 5 days already and it's driving me mad. I miss my family like crazy but at least I get to use my own toiletries and my own clothes. My mom is coming to visit soon i can't wait to see her cause i miss her the most. :kaojoy:
Couple hours of work. Might use in my game as a secret find or something. Not sure. Fancy though no? :D
Holy stink, where have I been? Well, I started my temporary job this week. So less time to spend on game design... :(
Cartoonier cloud cover that better fits the art style, as well as (slightly) improved blending/fading... fading clouds when there are larger patterns is still somewhat abrupt for some reason.
