Does anyone know of a way to rename the display name of a class for one actor specifically? I have an accessory that i want to be able to change its wearer's displayed class name to something else and only have that happen for the wearer while its worn. Its only a visual change. The wearer's class doesnt actually change when the accessory is worn, their stats and skills are unaffected, their class name should revert when the accessory is unequipped, and only the wearer should be affected. Even if there are others in the party that share the class, they shouldnt have their class renamed unless the too are using the accessory

I assume its possible because the yanfly subclass plugin is capable of changing the displayed name if you have certain main/sub class combos but i cant seem to figure out how to do it myself

How versatile does it have to be? Is it specifically one item for one actor that does this change, or do you have multiple items to go on different actors to affect multiple classes?

As of right now, its a group of 8 items thatll do the effect to anyone that has it on, but there will likely be more in the future. each one of these items have a different class name tied to them and should set their wearer's main class from whatever it may be to that item's class name, but only for the wearer as theyre wearing it. i was thinking ways to go about it but what i came up with made the name change a global thing and it effected other actors. any ideas?
