Voice Acting Not Controlled by Sound Effects Plugin Request

I'm trying to incorporate voice acting in my RPG Maker MV game and am unable to find a way to do so without using sound effects.

There's 2 problems with using sound effects as voice acted lines:
1. I want the player to be able to control the volume of the voiced lines
2. Since they're tied to sound effects, turning off voiced lines also turns off all sound effects

I've tried various message sound effects plugins but they're either a) tied to sound effects and/or b) impossible to control volume wise.


For this plugin, ideally, there'd be:
1. A way to play specified sounds ( voiced lines ) once no matter the SE volume ( via plugin command and/or script call? )
2. A way to increase, decrease and disable sounds ( voiced lines ) independent of the SE volume ( via plugin command and/or script call? )

( Technically, it could work almost exactly like a message sound effects plugin but independent of the SE volume )



I hope this isn't too difficult or even impossible!

I haven't used it but this is probably the only voice acting plugin I know of:

Edit: Looked at it. It doesn't depend on SE.

Wow, scanning through it, it looks pretty much perfect!
The only part that I'm confused on for the plugin is where do you put the folder for the voice clips?

It's not specified in the help section but I *think* it should be inside the Audio folder.
