I've been using Neon Black's "CP's Battle System" script, which gives you five different styles for the battle system. The fifth style (the RM2k style mode) produces a visual bug--whenever I try to run from battle, the entire textbox disappears, leaving the resulting "escape from battle" messages to just display in thin air. None of the other styles have this error, just the fifth one. Also, I tried using the script by itself with nothing else, and it still produces the bug. Here's a screenshot displaying the bug:
I've tried PMing Neon Black about this, but he seems to be away for the time being, so I was told to try explaining the situation here. If anyone here has used CP's Battle System (especially the fifth mode) and can figure out what's going on, please help! I tried to fix it myself, but I don't know where to start. I'd like to use the classical RM2k style, but this visual bug just sticks out in a bad way. Here's the link to the original thread with the script:

Quick tip for any other ametuer pixel artists! When trying to create a colour palette, enabling Antialiasing can speed up the process of creating different shades! Just place your lightest colour and your darkest colour next to each other, select both pixels, and stretch it out!
