I'm facing a big problem now. Please help me.

I changed the original animation data of vxace from json to rvdata2 once again (through the program)

But when you apply it and you go in, you say that an internal error has occurred


Script '(eval)' line 1: NoMethodError occurred.

undefined method 'frames' for #<Hash:0x9b8b9c0>


and

has been repeated three times, and nothing has been displayed on the animation editing screen. Not even the name.



And if you click on another animation in that state,

This is how the error occurred. (Clicking on another animation made it look different.)



Is there any way to solve this? Please I beg you. Help me.

your post doesn't make much sense.
the animation data for vxace has nothing to do with json files.

and your error messages have nothing to do with that either, they just tell that a script in a slot that you named (eval) has problems - and as far as I know there is no such script in default, which means it is something you added in the script editor.

It sounds like a conversion error from JSON back to rvdata2, and we can't do anything about it. If you simply want the game back to work, create a fresh project, copy animation.rvdata2 from the fresh project to your project. However, doing this will result in the loss of animation you've worked on. But at least, your project should be working fine.

Why do you even need/use this program? what is the advantage?
The readme in GitHub is in Japanese and I can't read them.

I looked for a program to convert json to rvdata2, and first of all,


The above program has been found.


But I didn't know how to use it, and that's what I found later.

Fortunately, I was able to understand how to use the program and succeeded in converting it using the program. However, the above error occurred after that.


After that, I converted rvdata2 into json again through the rv2da program and applied it to the mv, and it was confirmed that it worked well.


Also, I tried to create a new project and put the converted rvdata2 into it, but there was an error...

I never said to convert it. Just copy animation data from the fresh project to your project.

Are you using an external program that uses JSON or MV to edit the animation then do you want to import that back to Ace?

I can only assume that converting JSON back to rvdata2 doesn't work well.

Just copy animation data from the fresh project to your project.
If this is a json file, not a converted rvdata2, it has no error.

When I put it in the mv and tested it, it worked well.

If you're asking why you want to change json to rvdata2,



In the past, I converted animations.rvdata2 to json for use in mv.


However, now I am using vxace again, and I searched for the original file, but I couldn't find it, and all I have left is the converted json file.
Of course, it did.
That doesn't mean you can just change JSON back to rvdata2 easily.

So what's your reason?

that is one-directional only.
you CANNOT convert json back to rvdata2 for a number of reasons.

if you want an rvdata2 file, you have to start back with a new project from Ace.

no, it means you can go from Ace to MV (there is in fact a script included with M that does the same), but you cannot go back in the other directions. It's a one-way-street.

Anyway, there's no other way.......

(json ➝ rvdata2)

So, why does that program make it look like it's being converted from json to rvdata2?

It's a third-party program. We did not make this program. We have no idea how it works.
It is better if you try to ask the one who made it. Although we also have no idea how to contact the person.
