Hello everyone!

I hope there is somebody here who can help me. I'm currently trying to get these two scripts to play nice.

#Harvest Moon style Variable Based Calendar and Weather System
#Author: Selchar
#Version 2.1

LINK TO THIS SCRIPT

and

# * [ACE] Khas Awesome Light Effects
# * By Khas Arcthunder - arcthunder.site40.net

LINK TO THIS SCRIPT

The HM Calendar script uses screen tones to show the time of day, the later it gets the darker it gets so on so forth.

At present it seems the HM Calendar script is overwriting Khas Light Effects and cancelling out the lights layer. I've tried putting the light script above the calendar script to no avail. I've tried tweaking the light script to no avail. Alas my ruby scripting knowledge it basic at best.

I tried uploading a project with the two scripts but it was too large at 2.5mb. So I've uploaded both of the RB script files here.

If anybody here has any clue regarding scripting I would greatly appreciate your help!

Thanks for the advice, if nobody can help with my request I'll consider that script. I have it saved but it's just not as good as Selchars script.

Could not for the life of me figure out how to implement the dual/triple techs in Touch the Stars in a player-friendly way. Was describing all the problems to my wife and just rubber-ducked a solution that should work brilliantly.
I think I'm going to make each equippable item in my fantasy RPG grant a skill while its worn (in addition to the character's learned skills). Equipped gear that might be weaker in stats can still be useful in certain situations if the skill they grant exploits a weakness or resists a strength in the monsters being fought. This could potentially open up lots of build strategies to play with for fun.

A lot of those cool RPGs allow players to import their own portraits.
Thus, we shall have that, too. :kaojoy:
