[VX ACE] Loop animation below actor (aura)

HI! I need help finding a way to place an animation that loops below an actor that is equipping an item.
Kind off what you can see in RPG's like Diablo II when you have an active aura.

This item runs a common event when equipped and another one when un-equipping it, so the "aura" should go off when the item is un-equipped.
Maybe there is a script for this out there (Google didn't help at all) or VX ACE has it somewhere and I'm too dumb to find it.
Just a heads up, changing actor graphics is not an option, too many char sets.
