So instead of having arrow to signify leveling up, I have Serbian text. When I looked it up on Google Translate, I saw that, "Би" mean "Would be" in Serbian. This almost makes sense grammatically I guess, but why is it showing "Би" instead of "→"?

There is a similar issue with Serge Maverick's problem, I've never messed with the coding OR the fonts either.

Here's what other scripts I'm using. Maybe it's a compatibility issue? Doubt it.

How could I fix this? Or, at the very least, where in the script can I replace the "arrow" with →, ►, or ->?

Thanks in advance.

Yanfly uses a special symbol as the arrow, and in a lot of fonts that symbol is something other than an arrow.

You changed the font in your game, and as a result the symbols are different there.

You need to find the place in yanfly's script where he sets the letters for that place, and change them to something that is an arrow in the font you're using for your game.

Sorry, I don't have the line number, but it is a text string that can be searched in the script.

Thanks for the wicked fast response, Andar! I found it! I just found out that you can use Ctrl+F in the scripts.

I don't think that it was a Font error. Instead, I think I downloaded a weird, Serbian version of the script on accident.

If my head explodes when I change this, tell my wife that I love her.

I am having the same problem, but also includes the arrows that are drawn when casting spells that boost or lower parameters.  Also, I tried this fix of swapping in the arrow symbol, but it still displays the square bracket before the arrow.  I'm including some screenshots of the problems, and also the custom scripts that I have running.  Any help would be greatly appreciated because I've scoured the web and haven't been able to find a workable solution!!

@Palidor, please refrain from necro-posting in a thread. Necro-posting is posting in a thread that has not had posting activity in over 30 days. You can review our forum rules here. Thank you.

If the fix above doesn't work for you, that means that you have a different problem - so you'll need to make a new topic for your problem instead of hijacking a topic for a different problem.

Additionally, please use [alt]-prtscrn] for your screenshots - that limits the screenshot to the active window and the pictures are much better readable and smaller.

And in your topic, please also provide links to all menu scripts you're using to find out where your symbols are.

This thread is being closed, due to being solved. If for some reason you would like this thread re-opened, please report this post and leave a message why. Thank you.

Hello! I would like to know if there are any pluggings or any way to customize how battles look?
I was thinking that when you start the battle for it to appear the eyes of your characters and opponents sorta like Ace Attorney.
Sadly I don't know how that would be possible so I would be needing help! If you can help me in any way I would really apreciate it!
