[VXAce] [Khas' Message System] "\t[se]" command doesn't work.

Hi. This is my third post of the day.
Yay? I swear I'm not doing this on purpose.

Anyway, I have a problem with Khas' Message System. The \t[se] command is not playing any of the sounds that I put in there.

I have a se file called "text.wav". It worked fine with Yami's Pop Messages. It doesn't work with Khas'.
Even the files that come with the demo doesn't work when I use them.

Am I doing something wrong here?
Here's how I'm proceeding.

I though i had an idea, but it didn't work.
You can just setup another line below "Man" and use the \a[Man] option

I thought about that, but this just work for actors. I want it to work on events, otherwise, I'll have to register most of the npcs on the "actors" tab in the database.

After doing some more testing I found the issue.
Line 727. The expression is wrong.
it should be
result.gsub!(/\et\[\w+\]/i,"")
not
result.gsub!(/\et\[\w*\]/i,"")

Are you sure this is correct? I tried fixing it out but no luck whatsoever.
I've even fixed in his own demo that there's no materials but his own, but it still doesn't work.

Just beat the last of us 2 last night and starting jedi: fallen order right now, both use unreal engine & when I say i knew 80% of jedi's buttons right away because they were the same buttons as TLOU2 its ridiculous, even the same narrow hallway crawl and barely-made-it jump they do. Unreal Engine is just big budget RPG Maker the way they make games nearly identical at its core lol.
Can someone recommend some fun story-heavy RPGs to me? Coming up with good gameplay is a nightmare! I was thinking of making some gameplay platforming-based, but that doesn't work well in RPG form*. I also was thinking of removing battles, but that would be too much like OneShot. I don't even know how to make good puzzles!
one bad plugin combo later and one of my followers is moonwalking off the screen on his own... I didn't even more yet on the new map lol.
