RPG Maker Forums

Hi everyone! =)  I promised myself that after a few weeks recovering from the burnout that comes with 20-hour days working on my Indie Game Maker Contest entry, I'd take the plunge and join these forums, because they look great.

I've been hooked by the RPG Maker series ever since I first tried RPG Maker 1 on the PlayStation, sixteen years ago.  I never dreamed that after all this time, watching so many things change, that I'd still be so passionate about the series.  I've been very active in the RPG Maker Pavilion community, which mostly supports the console RPG Makers, but as of late I've been really serious about my XP/VX Ace games and I can see I'm going to meet a lot of like minds here.  It's especially cool to see so many of the scripters and staff that I've been following for a while on the forum I'm about to join.

Lately I've spent a huge amount of my free time on game-making, but I'm also a fan of anime, photography, American football, travel, cooking, music, and just discussing life.  Moved to South Florida (from Virginia) a couple years ago and while there are a lot of things I miss about VA, the mid-Atlantic winters are definitely NOT one of them!  I've spent a the last half-dozen or so years as a software designer & tester, and trying to break into professional game design.

I've publicly released two games (including the Contest one) and a few scripts for RMVX Ace, as well as a couple games for RM3.  I'd love to share my work here, but on a quick perusal I couldn't find a good place to post them - can someone please point me to where I should submit my games and scripts?

I'm really looking forward to getting to know a lot of you, and sharpening each others' talent and passion for making games.

Just beat the last of us 2 last night and starting jedi: fallen order right now, both use unreal engine & when I say i knew 80% of jedi's buttons right away because they were the same buttons as TLOU2 its ridiculous, even the same narrow hallway crawl and barely-made-it jump they do. Unreal Engine is just big budget RPG Maker the way they make games nearly identical at its core lol.
