I have to be missing something extremely obvious here but I'd like to have an item raise one of your stats by

a percentage.

I will use agility as an example: First off I created the weapon then added in the trait - parameter agility 110% now the

numbers themselves changing on the equipment/stat screen DOES NOT matter to me they just have actually change

to the set percentage with the weapon equipped. This did not work so instead I created a state that followed the same rule and would be applied if you had the weapon equipped, still nothing.

I'm clearly missing the big picture here just not good enough at the game yet to know what my problem is.

Use a trait for percentages if you want some equipment that raises it by such

I've had no issues with this. Just add the feature to the weapon Agility * 110. If it doesn't work, a plug-in must be messing with how weapon stats are computed.

However, RPGMaker does round decimals to the nearest whole number, so if you have say only 5 Agility, and equip a weapon that makes your agility now 105% of normal, it would do:

5 * 1.05 = 5.25, which rounds to 5.

In that case it would appear to do nothing.

You might want to test it with Agility * 200 and make sure the weapon is doubling the wielders Agility first. If that works, then it is probably because the effect is too small because your stats are too long to see it yet.

Don't forget, aspiring writers: Personality isn't what your characters do, it is WHY they do it.
Hello! I would like to know if there are any pluggings or any way to customize how battles look?
I was thinking that when you start the battle for it to appear the eyes of your characters and opponents sorta like Ace Attorney.
Sadly I don't know how that would be possible so I would be needing help! If you can help me in any way I would really apreciate it!
