Hey everyone!

How about we share around some webcomics?
I'm working on a webcomic myself and I'm sure a bunch of you also read them.

So here is a thread, dedicated to sharing your favorite works.

Some small rules to make it go much smoother:
- no pornography

- label comics with adult contents

- write a small summary what the comic is about

- add a few genres so people get an idea what they are in for

I'm excited to find so new reading material!

Have fun! :)

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

These are some of my favorite webcomics:

Feral Gentry (Fantasy, Mystery)
Tuomi is a fairy living in the human world and he thinks to be the only one, until he comes across a girl named Cypress, who also happens to be a fairy.

Desert Grey (Fantasy, Action, Romance)

A comic by a dear friend of mine about a revolution, racism, family and lots of gay people.

Adult content (Violence, nudity, language)

TagNacht (Fantasy, Slice of life)

Another project by a friend: Leslie and Sammy are no mere humans, and this comic follows their life among humans.

the GaMERCaT (Comedy)

Weekly strips about a cat that plays video games.

Do Korean web comics count?

If yes, I REALLY love this one:

The Gamer

The main person live turns into a game with levels, dungeons, quests and so on.

Not the "guy-gets-suck-into-vrmmorpg"- game live but the go to school, do your homework, meet with friend kinda life. Really funny.

I read a lot of webcomics (I'm subscribed to the feeds of about 40), so I'll try to limit myself to just the best. I'm mostly interested in long, complex stories and intelligent characters. I don't care for slice-of-life, pop culture, or teenagers. Warning: every comic I link here has over 800 pages in their archives.

Freefall
(science fiction, humor, A.I., rights)
Story of a bioengineered talking dog and the alien she works for, on a planet being colonized by humans. Started as a gag comic, but becomes more serious after a while, though remains funny and occasionally silly.

Unsounded
(fantasy, organized crime, children)
Story of a crime boss' supposed child and her zombie mage bodyguard and the nasty magical and political messes they get into. Some of the best art I've ever seen, and also some of the most disturbing.
Warning: Nudity, graphic violence, etc.

Girl Genius
(adventure, romance, mad science)
Steampunk-ish story set in Europe. Everyone has already heard of this one, right?

Order of the Stick
(gaming, humor, Dungeons & Dragons)
Another comic that started silly and became more serious. This is the story of a bunch of characters in a world that runs on RPG rules.

Skin Horse
(modern world, mad science, government)
Story of the secret government agency in charge of protecting the rights of sapient non-humans. Set in the same world as the finished comic Narbonic.

@Kalin I really like and recommend Order of the Stick and Skin Horse

I would highly recommend another comic done by the same artist that does Skin Horse: Narbonic which actually exists in the same world as Skin Horse, and follows an average joe Dave as he is employed by a mad scientist.

Awkward Zombie

(Video games, non-linear, comedy)

A gamer that draws comics about the games she plays, staple games referenced are Smash Bros, Fire Emblem, Pokemon, Zelda, and so much more.

Professor Astonishing!

(Sci-fi, Futuristic, Time-Travel, Comedy)

A disgruntled professor builds a time machine in order to achieve his own life goals, life goals that are constantly being set on fire by the students he has to watch.

Sure, I'll post a few =D

Gamercat - Because...well...how can you not love a gamer cat =D

Not Enough Rings - Anyone who played the Genesis Sonic games is sure to love this comic!  They're very well done.  The comic is finished, but still worth taking a good look at.

Sequential Art - A few mildly adult themes thrown in here and there, but otherwise very safe.  A fun little comic about a human, cat, and penguin living together and all the crazy things that happen to them.

RMMV
The number of webcomics I follow these days is really low compared to what I used to read years ago.

A few that I still read:

Rusty and Co. - It follows a group of monsters in a D&D setting as they go on quests and level up.  Don't need to know anything about D&D to understand it.

The Meek - A gorgeous webcomic.  Warning: One of the main characters tends to run around naked, but it's not done in a sexualized manner.

Moképon - A more serious take on Pokémon.

Camp Weedonwantcha - About a bunch of kids that get abandoned at some camp.

Bug Martini is my current favourite. It's basically just observational comedy, with a slightly surreal slant. Here is a recent one from that strip that I really like.

Couple hours of work. Might use in my game as a secret find or something. Not sure. Fancy though no? :D
Holy stink, where have I been? Well, I started my temporary job this week. So less time to spend on game design... :(
Cartoonier cloud cover that better fits the art style, as well as (slightly) improved blending/fading... fading clouds when there are larger patterns is still somewhat abrupt for some reason.
Do you Find Tilesetting or Looking for Tilesets/Plugins more fun? Personally I like making my tileset for my Game (Cretaceous Park TM) xD
How many parameters is 'too many'??
