The most updated version of nwjs that I've used for RPG Maker MV is 0.32.4 (0.33.5 didn't work for my old project, and anything after that isn't supported for Greenworks yet). Any point in using the more updated versions for MV though? More downsides than upsides if you ask me.

yeah , my target it found the good way to rendering all stuff with multiple layers shifting.
Example maybe rendering for
Right eye.
  • layers:0 (background) -5px
  • layers:1 (sprites) -15px
  • layers:2 (text) -25px
Left eye.
  • layers:0 (background) +5px
  • layers:1 (sprites) +15px
  • layers:2 (text) +25px
It should work and give cool 2d stereo stuff.
A good article talk about this here.
It same concept from the nvidia 3d glass, when you shift picture to get 3d extrude picture.

Interesting read. I did not know that stuff before since I never really dabbled into VR.

ya is very old technique, i remember do this kind of stuff with photoshop 10 yr ago with 2d pictures for the Nvidia 3d vision.
The only lack for Nvidia 3d vision glass it was very very bad contrast.
The tricks was juste shift mesh or the picture between eyes , and you get the sprite in 3d.
It hard to found stuff for nvidia 3d vision because they abandoned the technology that was full of problems.
But i remember play starcraft with 3d vision, ite was cool.

Example in this video from left eye, all stuf are shifter ~~ 10 to 100 px.
And your brain will see 3d extrude stuff and textures.

i succeed to map nwjs with microsoft mixed reality, but now i think we need wait by the autor, because i think nwjs block something in the vr api, also with the polyfill.
It work fine if a bypass by a browser, but nwjs not work, also with flag for native vr.
But it a good start for rmmv vr. need more time to study.
btw if any dev have theorie or suggest, i take all.
