Still working on my base sketch, the clothing, and the BG. Not sure how much of the outfit will be the same when I do my final sketch but there are parts of it I'm going to keep. (Death is apparently a hot male with a bunch of skull-groupies, btw.)
Edit: Painted some cel-shading on to Death's clothing and skin to check my pattern/tone contrasts. Still have no idea what I'm going to do about his hands and feet (I'm terrible at hands and feet).
Time for voting is up. It seems we finally have a winner for Weekly Art Challenge #2. A big thanks to everyone who participated and to those who voted for the entries. It was personally a very interesting theme to me, and I thought everyone who contributed did a very awesome job.
But well, the majority wins in any case. So here's a wrap-up for the poll:
Looking back at some sketches, and game design documents on my PC dated summer of 2015. I started development with the release of MZ, but in 2015, I felt a strong desire to make a game out of the blue. I remember feeling sad for no apparent reason, and all these ideas rushed into my head. Now that I think about it, since that day, everything has become easier to do on my PC . . . it’s very creepy.
