    Feedback to everyone.

@theadellie: That look awesome, why no shading there?

@Vexed: She is sublime and cool! I really like it, I didn't spy any virus there! That's so neat.

@animesock52: I love pirate themes, good antihero!

@Ms Littlefish: Beauty for the music, and nice coloring on art piece, isn't his legs are bit slim?

@drassray: Very nicely done dungeon music, I will be using it but for credits it is "drassray" or "Jacob Mann"?

@Julien Brightside: Nice coloring and face base.

    My done entry:

Thank you, all around. He's surely on the skinny side. He's described as being very tall and pole like. And, it's not apparent, since it's a drawing, but he has a limp and cannot walk well.

.. The challenge this time is... challenging, heh. I probably won't have time to finish it up, but here's my anti-hero, Gallius the Blithe. Give him silver, you'll end up slaughtered. Give him gold, he'll save the world.

I wish more anti-heroes were open in defining their wants/needs like this. If people only knew what they wanted, everyone would get along so much better.

Nice job! I like him. Especially his facial detail and eyes. They are a bit piercing.

Well, since a long time not drawn, but this is looking like a cute anti-hero chibi. It's not very nice, but hope it's nice for you...

EDIT: She doesn't have her right hand. That's a mistake. I avoided ears to make her cuddly.

When does this close? It's been a while since I've been able to draw. And with my scanner down I wanted to try drawing completely freehand on the computer.

    EDIT

Spent the last however long since I first posted this drawing on the computer. So. My first ever full digital artwork. The background is from Xp

    [IMG][IMG]

Mordicai, a Wood elf with a serious racial superiority complex (especially against other elves). Everything he does is to prove that Wood elves can do it better than anyone else. Because of this he is a master of many arts, including the weilding of his main weapon (the Lochaber Axe, traditionally an Orcish weapon) Fey illusion magic (and no, Fairies are not elves, not at all, not even related thank you very much), and the fine art of cupcake baking (he was challenged to a contest when he made an ill advised comment to a human baker, and by gum if he didn't make the best cupcakes ever).

So... yeah... newest addition to my Challenge party... Yyeeeeah, don't know how well he's gonna get on with Meredith and Coral. lol.

    Ok, here is my submission.

    It is called Remorseful Villain.

Imagine yourself, the soon to be villain, and your brother, the good guy. Standing on a cliff side facing out to the ocean. A gust of wind pushes your brother out, and he's hanging on for dear life.

You reach out your hand, and muster all your strength.

As you pull him back, the ground beneath your foot breaks, and you slip causing your brother to fall, as the rocks below await the arrival of his soon to be impaled body.

Feeling responsible, you walk off. Lost and alone. Nature has betrayed you, and you intend to take revenge.

This music would be played as you walk away from the scene :)

I guess I'll join this nice little art challenge.

He's not based off of any particular character I have in mind, but I realize he does somewhat resemble one of the heroes in the game I'm planning. Anyways, I tried making his appearance a bit generic anti-hero - the hair and jacket were originally going to be black, but I decided that was going a bit far.

Anyways, this is not a WIP, this is the final version of my entry, all that good stuff.

Also, I like all the entries so far :)

EDIT: Pfft just remembered the member title I gave myself. Coincidence, much?

For my entry, I have made a Sprite of Dalph (casting a fire spell), the ultimate Anti-Hero of the RPG Maker Forum.

Although he'd probably contest and say he's a Villain keep in mind, the meaning behind Anti-Hero.

    anti-hero

    noun

    1. a central character in a story, film, or drama who lacks conventional heroic attributes.

"with the age of the anti-hero, baddies and goodies became less distinguishable from one another"

Hope ya like it Dalph  ;)

    Really like your character Paladin.

Could be a battler in a game with that quality.

I'm new to these challenges, but here goes my antihero:

This isn't exactly for my game or anything, but it's the kind of dark, shadowy figure I had in mind for an antihero.

I'll admit, I was tempted to draw Dalph too.  He talks like a villain but he's totally an antihero.  Actions speak louder than words after all. :)

This is a kind of concept sketch of a possible protag for our next game. Jaden was born into an artificial race that is bought and sold like commodity. After breaking free, she becomes a bounty hunter using her body - often posing as call girls - to gain entry into places that may otherwise be unreachable. The beginning of her arc sees her teaming up with another character to finally use her talents to fight for freedom.

Here is my late entry for the challenge, a Dark Elf necromancer called Amalfein.

He is a silent type who will not admit doing good deeds for the sake of others, and put on the mask that he only cares for himself.

He protects himself often by raising fallen enemies from the dead to aid his group in battle, which can be frowned upon by those against necromancy.
