Weekly Art Challenge #5

I'm not surprised he looks a bit grumpy if he had to wear that floral wreath!  Almost counts as cruelty to children.

 

Love to see this broad range of styles and characters. Really inspiring (making voting tough again, but if it were easy it would be boring or something like that). <3

After kinda missing/forgetting about last challenge, I wanted to participate again.
Don't know if it's going to be disqualified because my project isn't in any shape to present yet so nobody knows about it ._., but still, I want to introduce you to Kin Zerkai: Royal bodyguard, traitor, warrior and summoner; one of four main characters in my game (which is in need of a title). Now and twenty years later.

This challenge also helped me to finally make a decision regarding his facial hair. Yay!

Gosh Chiara, your style is so cool. This is gonna sound random, but I absolutely ADORE how you draw boots. *^* (The steel cap and the seam ridges - and a convincing 'there's a leg and foot in here' shape <3 )

Alex, both in-game, while the one playable is the 23 years old one. His younger self is in flashbacks. The fact that he was a princess got revealed pretty early in the game XD

 

Looks like I'm a little late to enter, but better late then never! I'll think about who my victim will be!

 

Stumbled on this topic a bit ago while lurking, and I'm REALLY liking the theme, so I'm coming out from my lurking hole to post a thing for this, lol.

Anyway, for mine, I drew my character Daryl for a game in the works. I found this one particularly challenging because drawing women in different ages is really difficult for me, and I also picked out a difficult age range to draw(at least for me anyway CRIES).



Really liking everyone's submissions so far, too! The variety in styles is fantastic. <:

@radiostarkiller: I have to say that I have a weak spot for convincingly-made black shadow areas in character illustrations. This one's a critical hit.

 

These are all very nice. Makio, yours looks outstanding as usual.

I will have to sit this challenge out since I haven't created a game yet.

But I do enjoy looking at other people's art just as much as drawing.
