I recently reinstalled MV. When I access the menu, this happens. This happens in Vanilla project too. Any idea why this happens?

Have you tried reinstalling MV?

Is your Graphics Card, up-to-date?

What about that OpenGL DLL, which was used in order to fix the white screen problem, have you used it?

These are the only Suggestions that I can think of.

My graphics card is up to date. When it wasn't, all I see is purely MV white and does not work. But after updating my driver it works. This only happens in the menu though...

If you haven't got any saved projects, you could try re-installing RPG Maker MV.

Also, your PC's specs would be much appreciated.

Did you change your windowskin picture? can you check if it has been damaged?

Because the windowskin picture is the base for all menu and frame elements - they are constructed from its parts.

Additionally, do you use any plugins? If I remember correctly there is one plugin that might have caused this if you didn't use the updated version (it was a bug in an older version).

And no, contrary to Altephims assumptions this can't be caused by the hardware in this form, it has to be something in your project itself.

No. I never changed anything in my files. I open RPG Maker MV, Create a new project, press X to access my menu and this happens. I don't use any plugins as well.

check the windowskin in the "new game" folder of RMMV - that one gets copied to all new projects, and if that had been damaged or changed it would cause the problem in all new projects.

Keep in mind what Milena stated, that this occurs in EVERY project created, even 'Vanillas'.

Even if it isn't the hardware's fault, Could it be from the Installer?

Even if it's highly unlikely, that could actually be it.

But then again, If her installer is the Official one from the Official website, It would be impossible for a bug such as this, not to be noticed by the developers.

Moar Assumptions? I bet you 10 bucks she is using a pirated Client.

That actually would make sense!

Altephim, do not make accusations that you know nothing about

Altephim, please avoid double posting, as it is against the forum rules. You can review our forum rules here. Thank you.

And no, it can't be anything driver-sided or hardware-sided, because the lines are only in the background and there is text above them in several places. And in 2D-screens, especially in HTML-based 2D, that can only be caused by something in the game code itself.

I didn't actually want to accuse her. Sorry. I only meant it as a joke(overused childish excuse).

Potatoes aside, I know little to nothing about Javascript and 2D in general. However, I do agree that It could be from the Window skin in the RMMV folder.

Also thanks for the forum rules link, will certainly give it a read.

Couple hours of work. Might use in my game as a secret find or something. Not sure. Fancy though no? :D
Holy stink, where have I been? Well, I started my temporary job this week. So less time to spend on game design... :(
Cartoonier cloud cover that better fits the art style, as well as (slightly) improved blending/fading... fading clouds when there are larger patterns is still somewhat abrupt for some reason.
Do you Find Tilesetting or Looking for Tilesets/Plugins more fun? Personally I like making my tileset for my Game (Cretaceous Park TM) xD
