I'm sorry for the criticism, but this forum system looks pretty old. I know it's not easy to please everyone and a lot of people that use forum systems are used to this kind of interface but I also believe "good changes are good". Discourse and to some extend, Reddit and Medium, are great examples that less is more. I think that the attempts to engage users with lots of features bombing in the screen while reading a simple post are very nocive and distracting. There are too many things repeating and focus are everywhere. Too long footer signatures (5 Gs: good god guys get a grip), repeated pictures in forum categories (and animated, whyyyyy), paragraphs going through the whole screen, making it hard to read (I'm not the only one with a huge display as today isn't 2002) - just to describe a few... I mean, it's not welcoming new users and it's not really focusing on the most important thing: the content. The content should be the focus, profiles second. The rest should be accesible but not necesarily present.

Again, I'm sorry it it's too much, it's just my opinion. Whatever is the reason you chose to change, thank you for bringing the update, regardless of the cons I mentioned above. It's clear that the team responsible is always trying their best to engage more people and are passionable about their users. Keep going! <3

If you saw the old Game Dev Fort that used Discourse. And many people hated it for how hard it is to find anything. It is poor fit for our forums which is a source of many resources and information. That is not wise.

The signatures got messed up because of migration. Where we have line breaks everywhere.

Profiles is not the major focus here. Our focus was focusing the BB Code Editor and posting in general which was broken back in IPS4.

The animated icons had been with us for a while now, why is this a problem now?

I haven't been on the forums in a while. I just logged on and noticed the changes. Looks great but I'm having an issue with updating my old attachment images. I can't seem to resize the images, especially in my signature. I tried using bbcode to do it but it doesn't seem recognize the img tag when I use the width or height attributes.

Is the image actually the size that you're trying to put into the bbcode for height and width? Programs tend to act strange when they're given two different bits of information that are supposed to match.

It shows up as actual size and I want it to be smaller. As you can see from my signature, it is way too big. When I add the width or height, it doesn't render the tag at all.

In my experience that particular bit of code is often unsupported, especially in forums where an image that looks small but is actually big can cause server strain.

I just figured out the spoilers in the posts. Thanks! Also,I noticed that we could send attachments trough PM's which is great if/when it comes to do cooperative work. (That one I am REALLY REALLY happy and grateful with!)

So if I'm reading this list right, you don't support bbcode tag attributes. Disappointing. That means I'll have to resize it manually and then re-upload it. If only you could upload images for signatures like you can for forum posts.

Hi this has been asked before, but we disabled PM editing. This is due to some disputes happen all the time in PM and we want to preserve the conversation when we get reports to understand the situation

Using Chrome, having issues loading user profile when clicking on avatars. It'll just have a forever loading icon in the top right of the page.

On some pages I also have issues viewing pictures in "spoiler" tags or images in the posts in general. I can see avatars and sigs though. Tried testing on other browsers and I'm not having the same problems.

I clicked it and it sais it was given because people contributed to re-Staff. What is the RE-Staff, and what kind of contribuition does one need to give to get the cookies?

P.S-Well, this is kind of new forum thread related because before the new forum I didn´t see cookies around, and now they are all over...
