I know this is a subjective question. What are the best adventure games made with RPG maker out there?

"OFF" by Mortis Ghost! It's a nice game for cute little children! Family friendly fun for everyone!

NOT.

Also I'm not sure if OFF counts as an adventure game.

So that this doesn't wander everywhere, how exactly are you defining 'adventure'?

Story's that are told through puzzles I guess. I Know "to the moon" probably has to be one of the best by anybodies standards

I just finished playing "the witches house" and consider that an adventure game, because it takes wit to complete, and gives you puzzles to solve to advance

What's your definition of "adventure game"?

Same sort of thing.  In my head when I hear 'adventure game', the phrase 'point-and-click adventure game' overwrites it.

Are you seeking for complete games only or are demos OK?

I know only a few games that I'd consider Adventure, despite the tags sometimes added to them by the developper.

There's one called Asylopole, but I don't know if it has been translated into English.

You can also try the demo of Miraculo Island as it's a blend between a visual novel and an adventure game, with a slight touch of horror, judging by the demo.

Also, not to advertise or anything, but my own demo of Bleeding Moons is an interactive adventure novel, as I call it myself.

Downloading it now, and am going to try it out. Are they unique?

I'm not sure what you mean by "unique".

They are all different in their approach of adventure gaming, if that's what you mean.

@cabfe: That game Asylopole looks pretty neat o_O is it already out? I ask because the author hasn't updated the RMN english page in a while...

I always had troubles classifying these. The term is a bit vague but to me 'Adventure' means anything 'Point and click' kinda game, be it a text adventure game or anything without a solid combat system. I dunno how to explain it well :/

According to RMN there is a 'Puzzle' genre but... what are puzzles alone?

@Kyuukon:

As far as I know, the developper is still working on it. All the graphics are custom, so it takes a lot of time. Not too different a case from Aedemphia, also still in the making.... I guess that's the price for full custom when you're alone on your project.

Yume Nikki is one of the most infamous horror adventure games in RPG Maker. LSD trip and stuff. It's just exploring the madness and thinking (too) hard about things. You should check it out if you don't mind jump scares.

Holy stink, where have I been? Well, I started my temporary job this week. So less time to spend on game design... :(
Cartoonier cloud cover that better fits the art style, as well as (slightly) improved blending/fading... fading clouds when there are larger patterns is still somewhat abrupt for some reason.
Do you Find Tilesetting or Looking for Tilesets/Plugins more fun? Personally I like making my tileset for my Game (Cretaceous Park TM) xD

Yay, now back in action Happy Christmas time, coming back!

Back in action to develop the indie game that has been long overdue... Final Fallacy. A game that keeps on giving! The development never ends as the developer thinks to be the smart cookie by coming back and beginning by saying... "Oh bother, this indie game has been long overdue..." How could one resist such? No-one c
