Specifically? Brandon Sanderson and his books. I've read a good chunk of them and I really like his writing. It inspires me to write myself. I also am a fan of Guild Wars 2, lots of fun and lore in that game. And of course Pokemon, video games ect. Really love board and card games but rarely have enough people around to actually play them. So the infrequent game nights we have are extra special.

I'm a fan of lying on my floor, incessantly chain smoking and listening to Miles Davis. That's kinda my life right now and you know what, it could be way worse. At least I have a floor!

But in all seriousness, finding out-there surrealist works of fiction, writing, playing the harmonica and reading fit the gaps in between that.

Many things I like, but nothing I would consider myself a "fan" of. I'm kind of opposed to the term, since it's derived from the word "fanatic", and seems to be indicative of a like that goes beyond reason, which is a state I simply can't identify with.

There is no hobby, interest, person, or thing in my life that I wouldn't put aside the instant it became apparent to me that being involved with it was ultimately unproductive and/or no longer a reflection of my current tastes and sensitivities.

That being said, stuff I enjoy from time to time, in reasonable amounts are:

MMA/Brazilian Jiu-jitsu

Philosophy, and (criminal) psychology

Music - in particular soundtracks, Baroque, jazz, hip-hop and metal.

Music Production

Creative writing

Japanese city-/night-life

ALcohol and cigarettes

Social blending

Languages

Enjoying good food and cooking

I love anime too. I'm only a recent fan though. But ever since Attack on Titan, I became more hooked. Steins;Gate sealed the deal for me. I ended up watching Angel Beats!, Anohana and Clannad and I'm currently going through Clannad: After Story. I tend to stray away from the persistent anime like Naruto or Bleach that tend to just go on and on and never stop. I'd rather not waste so much of my life on one series. Sometimes even if they have 25 episodes I get tired of the same one by then. Anohana was short yet sweet: 11 episodes and it told a great story.

I get the feeling a lot of people here a fan of stories - this is a JRPG making site, after all. JRPGs are heavily story-oriented, and even if you can't write stories, you at least like them. And those that tend to like an activity generally want to be the best at it and be famous throughout the world, or at least create something passable that they can be proud of.
Only recent? dude/dudette you have seriously been missing out a lot of pure awesomeness, like you I also hate ongoing episodes like Naruto and bleach, I watched them all a little bit but it tends to go bitter after episode 100, only ongoing episode anime I truly enjoyed was One Piece, that lasted for a long time until I realized I am missing a lot of episodes (After episode 200 I looked ahead on my One Piece files and noticed I am missing some ahead) so I just said: "Screw it!".

I am a true anime maniac, most people prefer streaming their anime and watch online, I prefer keeping my anime and preserve them in my anime server which contains 5x 1TB hard drives all full of anime, 1TB number 5 is almost full so I gotta get a new hard drive to fill up more anime. If one of my Hard drives goes weird and loses at least 1 episode of a anime series I go balistic and cry in the corner, knowing that finding that specific anime isn't going to be easy (Looking for Black Lagoon episode 10 due to data loss) but no one seeds that nowadays XD

I have a anime problem >_<

People who actually "use the brain" that God gave to them. No matter who they are, I admire them too much.

EDIT:

@West Mains:

It's obvious that' I'm referring to people with an healthy brain, an healthy brain that they don't refuse to use.

And yes, this answer isn't worth a new post.

What if their brain is defective? Like, all they can do is shout boobs and point at cats. I can't think of how I'd admire them.

Well I only really started watching anime for the past 3 months.I watched FMA (7/10) when I was young, but that was before Brotherhood came out. The order I went in after that, years later, was Attack on Titan (7.5/10), Steins;Gate (9.5/10), Sword Art Online (5/10), Anohana (7/10), Angel Beats! (6.5/10), Clannad (5.5/10), and Clannad: After Story (8.5/10). I also read the Death Note (8.5/10) manga. Right now I'm looking at Mushishi or Fate/zero as possible options. What kind of anime do you think I'd like? I don't think I'm that big of a fan of slice of life, unless it's done right. I'm especially a critic of the concept of a harem. I'd usually pick story over action.

Sorry if this is derailing the topic, but this is a fan page, right? Anyway I am also a fan of pizza, Samsung Galaxy, Android. I'm a Windows fanboy. I am a fan of McDonalds, Burger King, Wendy's, Carls Jr. Anything that fills my stomach. I am a fan of fancy food. I am not a fan of large bushy moustaches. However, I am a fan of beards. I am a fan of stubble... it makes my male ovaries leap (it makes me feel feminine just thinking about it). I am not a fan of horror films/games. They're mostly done terribly and they don't even scare me. But when they do, I don't even particularly like being scared. So... there's that. But I am also a fan of surrealism, poetry, love, and a life well lived. I am a fan of RPG Maker... that's all for now ^_^

I am a gigantic fan of the anime and manga series AKIRA. I cannt even express my deep, deep love for that work. Its artwork is beautiful, its music stunning and its plot capitvating. Its the very definition of a masterpiece. Anyone that hasnt seen it, I seriously recommend you see it, even if you dont like anime. Anyone thats seen it, I highly recommend the gigantic 6-volume manga which is seriously mind blowing excellent.

I enjoy making music, out of the few instruments i've played, (which include the Tin Whistle and Harmonica) the Ocarina and Recorder are my favorites.

And i always carry my MO g (Poly) with me when i head out, this thing is truly tough, visit the site if interested. MountainsOcarina.com

Tons of stuff. Music is a given. So is writing. But aside from things I like to do, I'm a HUUUUGE fan of The Nightmare Before Christmas. I'm borderline obsessed with it...not entirely sure if I've crossed that threshold just yet. XD

If you like the action in shounen, but want something a bit more serious than the usual Jump fare (Naruto, One Piece, Bleach, Fairy Tail etc.), I'd recommend Hunter x Hunter (2011). The drama and characterization is great, especially in the last two arcs. The author tends to spend more time in why characters are doing something and what that means to them, instead of simply throwing out action scene after action scene.

If you start watching it from the very beginning, the first arc is a little rough, but it gets very good after that. It's probably the only series I've watched that gets consistently better the further into it you go. Definitely one of my favorites now.

Holy stink, where have I been? Well, I started my temporary job this week. So less time to spend on game design... :(
Cartoonier cloud cover that better fits the art style, as well as (slightly) improved blending/fading... fading clouds when there are larger patterns is still somewhat abrupt for some reason.
Do you Find Tilesetting or Looking for Tilesets/Plugins more fun? Personally I like making my tileset for my Game (Cretaceous Park TM) xD
How many parameters is 'too many'??
Yay, now back in action Happy Christmas time, coming back!

Back in action to develop the indie game that has been long overdue... Final Fallacy. A game that keeps on giving! The development never ends as the developer thinks to be the smart cookie by coming back and beginning by saying... "Oh bother, this indie game has been long overdue..." How could one resist such? No-one c
