What are you doing this weekend?

I'm going to F.A.C.T.S. (=fantasy/anime/comic/toys/scifi convention) this Saturday with some friends (though not the ones that actually promised to go with me, 'cause they bailed... Gosh, I need better friends). Then on Sunday, I'll be working at the supermarket

I'm starting a tabletop RPG with my daughter, wife, and a few friends using Fate Accelerated in a setting that is basically Sailor Moon mixed with Gundam. Sort of Magic Knight Rayearthy.

Making the Mexican food I've been threatening Amysaurus with. Then I'm not going to share it with her.

I'll be using all of my energy on school-related stuff this weekend (10% language midterm, Kanji quiz, 2 presentations, and a progress report due next week).

Improve my English! Also work on my drawing.

I don't know what I'll do in weekend, I recently started teaching my little brother (11 years old) to begin learning Ruby and programming, I don't want him to become like me, to be late in anything(in my opinion) because I'm the oldest brother and didn't have someone that pointing me out what to do when I'm little, also I like to teach him playing piano and guitar. I have failed with my life, I want him to be a better person and have a value in his life, not only people who just can play things, but MAKE things.

You're being too hard on yourself.  Nobody ever "fails" at life.  And it's never too late to grow.  We can always learn new things --- the brain is designed to learn and adapt to changing situations.  Heck, recently a 98 year old woman just graduated college.

It's true we may not meet someone else's expectations, but that doesn't make us a "failure." 

Don't give up hope for yourself.

I agree with whitesphere, nobody ever fails at life. You've got to enjoy your life whilst your here. Enjoy it with friends and family as well, no one lasts forever and when they're gone you always feel guilty that you didn't see them enough, I know this because its happened to me when my grampy died

I have always thought that we should all enjoy our lives and make the most of them! Life's a gift and it shouldn't be wasted because you don't know what's around the corner. Always live life to the fullest - Enjoy it
