What are you working on?

If you're familiar with the what's on your mind threads at other forums, you probably know how this thread works.

This thread is for members to embrace their narcissism let other members know what they're working on, in terms of anything related to RPG/Indie Maker, but some free chatting is also allowed just as long as it remotely touches upon the subject of game development.

For me, I kind of just had an explosion of script ideas which I'm about to get to work on. :lol:

I wouldn't even like to imagine how you keep your ideas together for scripts.

I've been working on a number of single idle frames for some battlers, and trying to figure out what weapons to give them. It's something which takes up a whole load of time... seriously what weapon do you give that cute cat girl on aces' cover art :(

Currently creating a snowy town for the intro of my game, I suck at making my village maps look good but at least the map doesn't have to be huge.

Turning some of my enemy and character concepts for my game into sprite form for battles.



Needs some tweaking but it's good enough for now. Will worry more when it comes time to animate.

I'm working on the first backtracking area in my project. for some odd reason I felt a Union Cave from pokemon gold and silver vibe from it.

Refining a battle system creation engine by remaking old timey battle systems.

Starting with Final Fantasy Mystic Quest.

I'm currently working in adapting all progress of my project to the 640x416 resolution (up from 544x416). This means I have to widen a lot of images (such as Parallaxes and the Titlescreen) and remake every text dialogue and description I have made thus far. Daunting work, for sure... It will all be for the better, though. The battle system had the MP/TP bars for party members very clumped together, since the maximum party is 5. And widescreen looks prettier - the player will see more at the same time and I'll be able to add more dialogue per box and make a bit longer text descriptions!

Looks interesting and it would not be particularly hard to make, but there doesn't seem to be enough resources to work with in terms of the battlers. Also dares don't work on programmers, they usually have the opposite effect unless it's from another programmer.

Doing various stuff at the moment. And since I have 2 projects going on, and I don't want to delay the progress of either of them, so I keep switching back and forth. It's kinda tiring.

I'm currently working on redoing all maps in my game into parallax format, alongside going through my game and editting a whole chunk of scenes.

Since migrating my project from 2k3 > VXa, I'm working on converting the 2k3 REFMAP tilesets to Ace format. Autotiles, DAMN THOSE Autotiles! So hard to configure. I mean I can skip regular mapping with parallaxing, but damn these autotiles!

Currently working on a synth/cooking system...

Thanks to GubiD's tutorial, it's been a little easier to build. But the biggest part is to adapt it to my project... U.U

@TDS: very nice work ! It really feels like an oldschool game :)

Well i'm kinda working on my mapping because i have a hard time mapping a tower :(

which slowed down my project,i hope i finish mapping the tower on may 20 ^_^

so i can map the underground >_>

Holy stink, where have I been? Well, I started my temporary job this week. So less time to spend on game design... :(
Cartoonier cloud cover that better fits the art style, as well as (slightly) improved blending/fading... fading clouds when there are larger patterns is still somewhat abrupt for some reason.
Do you Find Tilesetting or Looking for Tilesets/Plugins more fun? Personally I like making my tileset for my Game (Cretaceous Park TM) xD
