Nice work!

I am working on various things I can't discuss just yet.  It's gonna be awesome though!  I am also working on one of my game projects that is single actor.  Allows me to concentrate on that character only and have fun with the story revolving around them.

I'm...working on my stupid crossover fangames, both in XP, and VXAce...

But also still planning on a project that will use the DS resource pack.

And further down, a refuses-to-take-itself-seriously project using my own art and designs for the characters and monsters.

For several days I tried to redesign interface from my team's game (my energy is is rising because our scripter is returning to continue the job!). I adjusted the layout and coloring to make it look simpler and unify most of the graphics under the same theme.

Equipment Menu
Normally this would be the most difficult one, placing information including elemental stats are very hard. (And it's important too.) I never got it right even in my game. But for the first time, I feel quite satisfied. Maybe partly because I'm in euphoria lol.



Command Phase Menu (In Battle)
Easy one. I just think of the layout and place it away, no problem at all. After that it's just minor adjusting with the tone and graphics.



After this I might take some times when I slacked off my job to fix and redesign each menu until all is done.

Wow, those are awesome... how I hope I can do things like those [the artwork especially, since I can manage to do the script part with more experience]...

it looks like a non-RM game really...XD

I'm not a fan of the default character facesets, so 'm working on designing the character portraits in a different style... Though I'm not sure how they'll fit in with the menu, as I'm nowhere near starting that.

@LuZi: holy cow those are fantastic! Are you going to release those battlers, menu and battle system to the public :) . For those of us not as fortunate to have a team of people. That would be just lovely lol. But great work!

Working on my hopefully one day commercial project's gameplay and story a bit as I tweak the database and rebalance some things in the armor/weapons department to justify why some of it is 1-Handed and the others 2-Handed so one doesn't feel overpowered by the other...

Learning and studying various forms of lore involving Dwarves and Orcs for it. Dungeons and Dragons and Lord of the Rings are fun forms of inspiration as well for the game and world it takes place in. <3

I am currently working on a game I've titled "Bliss" (a link to its thread can be found below in my sig)

And as always, I am slowly increasing my skillfulness with RPG Maker VX Ace by reaching out to people in the community (Hello variables!!!) and perusing the Resource forums for fresh new sprites/characters/objects for my game.

Custom sprites! Although I only have her front walk animated/done, I'm pretty proud of how it looks considering this is my 1st animated sprite (anyone have opinions on it?).

Update on the skills menu...

And working on making the number of inventory slots dynamic... I got it to work when I add it to the commands part since I'm adding it to the end, but I got a problem if I it somewhere in between (some equips are gone because of the movement of slots)... but I think I found the way to do it right...

PS: btw, the windowskin actually uses the same texture as that background... and yes, I don't plan on having lined borders...

Lol, so I've been spriting a lot, but I can't really decide on a style to stick with. I made three versions of my main character; one in XP, one in Mack and another in Looseleaf(the original)...they all look good to me, but I'm unsure of if I should convert the rest into either XP or Mack or have them stay in their larger Looseleaf forms.  >_>

Just beat the last of us 2 last night and starting jedi: fallen order right now, both use unreal engine & when I say i knew 80% of jedi's buttons right away because they were the same buttons as TLOU2 its ridiculous, even the same narrow hallway crawl and barely-made-it jump they do. Unreal Engine is just big budget RPG Maker the way they make games nearly identical at its core lol.
Can someone recommend some fun story-heavy RPGs to me? Coming up with good gameplay is a nightmare! I was thinking of making some gameplay platforming-based, but that doesn't work well in RPG form*. I also was thinking of removing battles, but that would be too much like OneShot. I don't even know how to make good puzzles!
one bad plugin combo later and one of my followers is moonwalking off the screen on his own... I didn't even more yet on the new map lol.
