I decided to go ahead and increase the screen size to: 640x480 (formally: 640x416) to add more room for the actors during scenes; I also moved the portrait up 4 pixels since there is more room now.

Have finally solved my custom windowskin problem - caused by my stupidity (again), but rescued by the ever wonderful Shaz (again).  Just finishing off a side quest which gets you an optional party member.

@Metalraptor I think you're doing great so far but that windowskin is distracting. The parts where the text is displayed should be darker so the white text is easier to read. I think the font doesn't work well for long time reading.

I just finished laying out all the weapon types and shop types to appear through out my collab project,compare to all y'alls,it seems rather small  :guffaw: .

@Archeia K, the light section is actually an overlay itself to make it easier to read. ^^;
I'll just lower it's opacity a bit, how does it look now?:

The first one is set to 30 opacity with an add filter, the second is set to 15.
Should I go with the second, or do you think I should increase it to 20-25?
As for the font, I still haven't decided on it yet, so it may change.

I've been working on the next character portrait, body proportions have never been one of my positive points, so I've spent the past several hours trying to get her to look right. ^_^;

Registered ToMorning Productions as my DBA in the city of San Francisco, acquiring my business license. Making final checks with the T-Shirt fulfillment service to make sure they're reliable with their orders. Researching software packaging companies to provide YANTH with a great physical game box, very similar to the one for RPG Maker VX Ace!

Modifying contracts for independent contractors (the dev team) that'll be working on YANTH with me to make sure development goes smooth and as planned. Working with the parents and their tax attorney to make sure we keep as much of the Kickstarter funds towards development, and not into uncle sams hole-riddled pockets.

Mapping, mapping and more mapping - well, I've got to use all these tiles I've spent so long editing!!

Also changed my avatar just coz I felt like it.  That'll confuse me at least when I'm looking for posts I've made.  It's the silhouette of a kestrel - a play on my name.

@adiktuzmiko: Not bad C:. There are things you can do to improve it of course, like giving more volume to the eyes, and defining a little more the mouth for example, so they don't feel just like painted over the character. Another thing you could try is adding some more spikes to the top part, to reduce a little how flat it seems to be.

But overall is a nice attempt, good job!

I want to learn to do good maps ( '。A  ' )。but instead of that I'm working on the database! Yay!? \( * A * )/ ( I SAW AN OVNI! ). orz.

Working on Vol II of Enelysion. 7 more hours of gameplay coming your way! Finished up the beta for LoTL. Clocks in at 3.5 hours ( comparison-wise, Enelysion's early demos were 1.5 hours long ).





Because we really need more bow-wielding heroines...

Working on an evented character creation system. Choose your gender, species, colour and name! And because this is for a remake of NeoQuest (only available on Neopets sadly, such a great game), this means there are54 different pets, in more than 4 colours each and each of them is available in two genders! I'll be planning only the simple colours, like red, blue, green, yellow, white, shadow, orange, purple, split and pink. (or anything that doesn't have elaborate designs and appendices)

Though I only have to design the male and female version of each pet, as recolouring is simple.

YES! WORK FOR THE FUTURE OF PEOPLEKIND! (?). Also my main character is my daughter. And she is alive! It's not only on my head! I'm not crazy!!! NOOOOO!!!! THE SANATORIUM!!! NOT AGAIN!!! (?).

By now I'm working on some interface overhauls here and there. But mainly I'm making scenarios (a.k.a. mapping) and making some content, as my plan is to have a demo somday this year! The pain D8! It is coming to its end!

it looks nice... those pixels... so attracting... :)


as for me, well after weeks of inactivity, finally got to work on my proj yesterday... my projectile system is also working fully now (at least for firing, showing animation upon end, support for on collide methods)... though I only made on collide methods for triggering action triggered events for now... because I'm doing it on a proj that doesn't involve combat, but hopefully someday I'd be able to implement it as part of my own active battle system... :)

you mean like adding spikes to the back? IDK, it's supposed to be a mask so it's meant to be somehow flat... XD


anyway, I'm still practicing on this whole drawing thing...

Just beat the last of us 2 last night and starting jedi: fallen order right now, both use unreal engine & when I say i knew 80% of jedi's buttons right away because they were the same buttons as TLOU2 its ridiculous, even the same narrow hallway crawl and barely-made-it jump they do. Unreal Engine is just big budget RPG Maker the way they make games nearly identical at its core lol.
