Currently working on the map for the first town in my RPG. It's going to be pretty interesting, me and my partners have worked out quite a bit of storyline. I just hope it's something people will enjoy.

Working on my soundtrack. Have about 13 tracks going, but will probably have to remake two, and make another 5 or so, until I have all the demo scenes covered.

I'm extremely satisfied with what I have going so far though. Shadowtracking has helped enormously, and because I've settled on a few VSTs to use, the sound is consistent across the board.

@Raiden: I see that as someone's fantasy <3.

Right now I'm testing. I've recently changed the Tilemap, so I expect to see weird stuff happening. Meanwhile, as part of the testing, I'm creating maps and eventing, having some fun making the Fierro INN xd, and still making the Phamas Forest. Fierro and Phamas, those are the areas I'm focused right now. If those two are made in this week, I can hope to have a nice demo this month without any problem <3<3<3.

So, BACK TO WURKKK!

It took me awhile to get the proportions right (sucks at drawing proportions ^_^; ), but here is a quick update on the latest character portrait for my game:

I'm still deciding on the dress design, so this is subject to change.

I made some adjustments to the portrait:

Eliminated the extra sleeve, raised the bust a bit, and increased the body proportions.

Hopefully I'll be able to start on the line art soon. :)

That looks neat. But why is everything skewed at that angle? I get what you're trying to do, but wouldn't it look better just straight down rather than diagonal-kinda? I dunno.

Putting the finishing touches in preparation for releasing a demo for my game... the sad thing is everything was ready for release 3 months ago except the maps... which are a ton better than they were 3 months ago, but I would stake my life on having the majority of initial criticism for my game being something along the lines of how bad the maps are... even though I've spent more time on them than anything else... because I really suck at mapping.

Just working on my first RM game. It's based on a VX tutorial by Benko and Kelsper. I'm two-thirds of the way through the tutorial, and probably a third of the way through the game due to my usual need to keep adding awesome little things that make the project mine.

@Chaos17: Holy parallaxing, Batman!  That looks awesome!  I wish I had the time/patience to learn/do something like that :( .  I shall stick to normal tiles for now.

@Shades: Just so you know...that constant feeling of wanting to add little, awesome things never ends lol.

I'm currently doing...nothing lol.  I haven't worked on my game in so long.  I could really use a mentor or something because I really want to get into parallaxing (once I find time) and I really need to find more tilesets.

I'm between RE-working interfaces, some things that bothered me and needed to retouch a little, and trying to get done the next area for the game.

Here an example of what I've done with the interfaces.



At the top of the window you can see some button graphics. Since I've made a custom controller options, these images change depending on these configurations. It was easy, they're just blitted icons that depend on the values stored inside the game configuration. Now I need to do the same with "tutorial texts".

Here the rest of today's changelog (scripting-related):

- Exploration: Auto-recovery by time instead of steps.- Party Menu: Menu keytips (?).

- Enciclopaedia:  Remark selected item.

- Enciclopaedia:  Make "Back" command work properly!

- Battle: Fix music volume after Pause.

- Battle: Balance music volume reduce at battle end.
 

So yeah, time to map and do some eventing! (and any necessary graphic),

Just beat the last of us 2 last night and starting jedi: fallen order right now, both use unreal engine & when I say i knew 80% of jedi's buttons right away because they were the same buttons as TLOU2 its ridiculous, even the same narrow hallway crawl and barely-made-it jump they do. Unreal Engine is just big budget RPG Maker the way they make games nearly identical at its core lol.
